I just got the same text from 900080004000. If vzw.com is legitimate (which I'm doubting due to the existence of verizonwireless.com), then this is just a fluke that is continuing to happen to random people apparently.
PS. I'm definitely not over my call limit contrary to the body of the text message received, but they will be receiving a call from me today.

This morning, I got that same message too.

I received msg from 900-080-004000 x611 advising that my upcoming Verizon bill could not go through.  Upon call Customer Service at Verizon, I was advised that this is NOT A VERIZON NUMBER OR CONTACT, IT IS A SCAM TO GET CREDIT CARD NUMBERS.  FYI, just delete and ignore.

I received message from 900-080-0040.  How do I stop receiving these calls?

Just got another of the VZW text messages. Haven't opened it. Will show it to the Verizon store in an hour.

On 5/16/13 I got the same text.  I did NOT call.

we just got an unsolicited text from these scammers too, and we are taking the advice of others and reporting these scammers to the fbi, ftc, and the police. there are too many crazy people out there to risk our lives and our children's lives. if you received anything from these frauds, please report them too. together, we can stop these criminals before they harm more people.

Haven't paid anything on line, haven't changed any passwords, don't have a son so I guess I don't care that much what they do to this poor person,

Our Verizon online customer service sent an FYI text from 900-080-004000 right after I set my security question and answer. It didn't ask for any information, it just confirmed that I had done that, which I had.

Got the same "text", concerning how much "anytime" minutes had been used. Dont know if it is a scam or not, but it was a poorly written text so...

I had a just made my Verizon payment to follow by a txt message from Verizon saying they received my payment the number that showed up was 900080004000 which is interesting I had no idea....LOL

I just got a message from the 900-080-0040 and that one I can actually read. However the messages I keep getting from 900-050-0040 are just a bunch of numbers and letters. I tried to call verizon and I couldn't even talk to a real person.

I received a text message from 7247631172 in turn sent my number back to me from 724 7623440 .A message from my number...??? How can it be reserved to receive 762 7631172 from myself ?

I get messages from them every month. That is for notification for e-Bill viewing. And all the other computer generated notifies for your acct.

I received a text message from 900-080-004222 around 5:00 am right after I sent a text.
