Got a call from indian sounding man, was the same story as everyone else. Why doesent the Gov get on these jerks- We are on the no call list

Same story---caller with thick accent stating my computer IP showed up blinking red.

Login for (unintelligible) Asked several times still didn't understand.  Argued with him a bit (indian accent) he finally told me thats where he was.  Wanted me to go to his website (fat chance of that happening)  When pressed for the supposed IP address that was flashing in red somewhere on their servers, he put me on hold then gave me  192.168.0.21 which is laughable since it is a wireless router IP and not something that gets broadcast on the web AND I change the 3rd octet on mine so there are no computers running on my LAN with that address ever.  I told him the call was BS and not to call back ever.

I got a phone call from this heavily accented man saying that my computer had a virus and that he could fix it. My computer don't have a virus and how did he even know I have a computer anyways? He said it would only take 2 minutes to fix if I would turn on my PC and open this technical program he recommended. Does anyone know who this is from?

I also tried to call the number back and it says this number is not in service.
I could not identify the caller or the company.

Fellow with Asian accent said he was with Computer Technical Service and something about a virus.  I hung up without getting any further info as it was obvious scam.

Ridiculous...such a blatant scam! First tell them to never call you again and then hang up immediately and report them to www.donotcall.gov

I had a call from login4speed on last week. The person who called me his accent was like indian. He said that some online infection was going on in your locality so they provided free check up call. I was agreed with him and followed the instrunction and after that they told me that some major problems i have in my computer so they charged me around 72 GBP . I knew that they told me lie but even though i felt that there service is too much good after getting their service My computer was very slow . Some working softwares was not open but now its working fine it works like a new one. So i believe that Login4speed is not a fraud company its very helpful company.

Just received a call....caller ID said Nova Scotia.  I am in Southern California, didn't answer and no one left a message.  Thank you for the heads up.

Just got a call from a woman with an Indian accent.  My caller ID indicated 9025678434 from Nova Scotia.  She mentioned that she was aware of problems with my computer and needed information in order to fix it.  I told her that her requests sounded like a SCAM after which she immediately hung up without even saying goodbye.

When I received this call from Sydney, Nova Scotia today I was expecting a scam but I was surprised at the level of boldness from the caller. He was incredibly difficult to understand and, after asking for many things to be repeated, I told him I was not interested in continuing the call. What I was basically told was that my computer had a problem with the IP address and that I needed to immediately go turn it on so that he could help me fix it. DO NOT FOLLOW THE CALLERS DIRECTIONS!

Just received a call from this number.  didn't recognize - didn't answer.  Blocked my number and called it back.  It said "this number is not in service".  Now have blocked this number.  How do they get away with this anyway.  Thanks for all the info above on your comments.  This is the only way to get the message out there.

Have been getting calls from 902-567-8434 over the weekend and this afternoon - seems that Anonymous is correct that the West Coast is targeted after the enforcement offices shut down.  Caller hangs up when my answering machine comes on - call screening works for me!

If someone calls you about your computer that you had no communication with, it is indeed fraud. Never respond to these calls, no matter what they tell you.

I got a call from this number.  I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids.  I finally understood "Do you have a computer?"  I said that I did.  Then I got "Are you sitting at the computer now?"  I said yes and then whatever they tried to tell me was not understandable.  First a man tried.  He then handed it over to a woman who shouted.  I told her that extra volume did not help.  I needed each word to be said carefully and deliberately.  I never did understand, so I figured it was a scam of some kind.  After she tried several times, she gave up and hung up.  I asked my daughter if she could find out anything about this and she found this site.  While I was writing this, I got another call from them which I could not understand.  I told them in no uncertain terms, slowly and carefully to take me off their list and not to call me any more.  I told them that I was reading about their scam on the computer and that they had been reported to the police, the FBI and the RCMP.  I do not know if she understood or not.

I just received the call from the above mentioned Indian who was stupid enough to stay on the line as I read the following.

This number is listed on the National do not call list, in addition we no longer respond  to
Telephone surveys or solicitations for money or time . Remove our name from your list and do
not call this number again. Thank you.

I have this printed on a card by each phone and read it off every time I get a call from a survey or
someone begging for money

I just filed a complaint with the National Do not Call List and advising them I believe it was a computer scammer trying to get you to install damaging software on your computer to possibly take it over or search for personal information. I would advise anyone else who receives a call from this number to do the same.

This dumb bunny called me pretending like he was able to see my computer from his server and even see some viruses on my computer without the need to scan my computer first. When I drilled him with technical questions, he got confused and started yelling. He finally got mad and hung up. This guy sounded like he was from India. He was an amateur scam artist

Got a call about half hour ago from this number, and my answering machine picked up.  Again, the heavy accent, and he didn't say who he is or on whose behalf he's calling, or any kind of message.  I didn't have any interaction with him at all.

I suspect that this post is from one of the scammers. Login4speed "is not a fraud company"?! Yeah right. Total "fraud company."
