This number is calling me, all sorts of different messages, anyone know who it is?

i just received a voice mail from andrew burke stating i needed to call him, then said some things i could not understand.  i listened to the voice mail several times but could not understand it.  he did say i probably have never been involved in anything like this before so i needed to call to give my statement.  i am not calling him back.  i never heard of H&P Capital, but after doing some research on line, it looks to be a payday loan collector.  good luck to them!

Just recieved a call from 9046721023 from a carmen seals saying I needed to give some type of statement. Said I was in some type of legal trouble about some cash loan place. Not sure what that's about. I get a phone call from them everyday though. It's frustrating

yup !@!!!this damm ppl keep calling me also threating me..... so i told thyem......i was recording their convo... they need to stop doing that ish.....  i just hung up on them....

I just got a call from them. They left a message that I need to leave give a statement. The lady name was Ms. Roberts. Whatever

got a call on my voice mail...automated msg, no name...just the name and phn#...am lookin forward to calling them tomorrow morning....

A Miss Richards called and said a case had been filed against me for "moral turpitude" over a pay day advance I took out and didn't repay. Since I work in the payday advance industry, she said I took the knowledge I gained from my work and used it to defraud Arrow Investments. Said she needed me to make arrangements. I told her I would contact my attorney. She asked for his name and told me she needed to hear back from him by 5pm EST. I looked it up on the internet and "moral turpitude" is a criminal act. No one that enters into a payday advance can be charged criminally. I haven't called back but I think I will have my attorney call and let them know the FDCPA and the consequences of threatening criminal procedures.

from what i read here i take it it's the payday loan i did take out and wasnt able to pay back since i lost my job..so can i go to jail for not being able to pay back those 300 bucks.. seems like nothing but when i lost my job i just went doooowwwn!!!

Yeah I got the same call from a guy by the name of Mr. Robuck. He made threatening remarks saying that If I didn't take care of this matter that there would be consequences. I ask him what consequences ? And he told me not to insult his intelligence and told me what do you think is going to happen to you. I told him I have no idea what he meant by that and that if he was going to put me to jail to go right ahead you know where I work and where I live and that I didn't give a [***] and hung up on him.

They just called me and then an apartment I haven't lived at for years.
I think these guys are with YesPayDayLoans.
They egineer illegal payday loans to people.
They don't have licenses in half the states they operate.
If anyone can find an address for these guys I am going to sue them.

I received a call from a guy name Chase say that I needed to borrow money or have somebody take out a loan for me to take care of this matter by 4pm. I told him I didn't have the money and I couldn't not borrow $300 I going through a rough time financially

Yes, it's H & P Capital - collection agency.  I have caller ID - didn't recognize the name - didn't answer the call.  Message said they had to hear back from me by 4:00 today.  Yeah, right.  Just ignore them.  You are not legally required to pay a collection agency.  Your debt is with the original party.  Collection agencies buy your debt from the original party you owe in the hopes you'll fall for their "BS" and pay them.  That's how they make their money.

If you choose to answer the call, tell them you'll report them to the Attorney General's office for their unacceptable collection practices, which, by the way, are illegal.

Had a guy who wouldnt leave his first name on the voice mail a Mr. Winslow say he received my file today and I needed to call to give a statement and I was in trouble and he would tell what will happen next and then had the nerve to say if I don't call today Good luck to you.....

I received the same call this morning from a Mr. Jeff Robe... with the exact same statement... how dare these people & how threatening they are.  I will do the same and contact my laywer and give him this number to call on my behalf.  If you have anyother details I need to know please write me back, thanks,  SSE for Houston!!!

Ok, Thank-you very much... That Mr. Robe sounds like a hit man.. he called me on my cell and my job... I will definitely not call them back, but remember to quote the information you stated.

That same bit----- called me for the past 2 months and I finally gave her a chance and talked with her today and it was useless, she was like a rude robot that wouldn't even listen to me. All I wanted was to be sent info on the reason she was calling and all she kept saying was it had been sent before.... It was a waste of time....

They have been calling and leaving messages just like everyone else, sometimes more than once a day. Also calling my contacts (family) more than the once they are legally allowed to. They are rude and this Robert's woman is the worst. I finally called after all this time to see what it was about and told them I didn't recall any such debt. I haven't received anything in my email or mail like she said had been sent on several occasions. I tried to get them to send me something so I would be able to look over this so called debt and this was a waste of breath, all she does is argue and talk over you, and never did she tell me how much the debt was, she even disconnected me too. I spoke to another guy, didn't catch his name, because I asked for a supervisor, but supposedly they were in a meeting. Yeah, right. I at least told me the details of the debt but I still tried to get info in the mail without any luck, I'm on disability and don't have any extra money at the moment anyways, so he took it as I was refusing to pay.... I told him, I never said that, did you hear me say that, I just want proof in writing about this whole thing, he said that he will advise his client that I wasn't going to pay and they would take it to court, I told him to do what he had to.....
