This guy has been calling a lot.  He keeps claiming this is Johnny from Commercial Electric and needs to get a part number. He is very rude.  Today he called and asked me to page our shop manager.  I got back on the phone after I let him hold for a bit and said that he didn't pick up.  He said well I just need to verify a part number.  I said okay and who are you with. He said this is Johnny from Commercial Electric.  I said I think you have called here before and we do not do business with you.  He got mad said F*** it then and hung up.  

My coworker and I have received several calls from a man stating that he wants to speak with our maintence manager and then asks " what is his name again?". After transferring him to every manager in the department and no one having a clue who this person is and why he's calling, the guy eventually comes back to me and/or my coworker who answers all calls coming in to the department. When asked, he never gives his name or any information on why he's calling, just that he's with National. My coworker and I called his bluff when we told him that he has called several times in a day, that if he doesn't provide us with any information that he can stop calling because he's wasting our time and he denies ever calling before although  he's called 9 times in a single day. This is a solicitor or some type of scam.

My call came from an over enthusiastic and friendly young woman - a tip off from the start!  She asked me how I was doing - another tip off - then said her manager had been speaking with the head of our maintenance last week and ....."what was his name again?"  I just said, "Don't bother!" and hung up on her.  I hate these kinds of calls.  How stupid do they think we are?

Rude! If you hang up on him for being a class A jerk, he calls back and is more belligerent. Claims to have spoken to our mechanic in the past, not true.

Got a call from this guy today - said he was Randy from Commercial Industries (guess he needed a new company name other than Midway Electric). Same spiel as above, he eventually said he would try another number and hung up. Sales/scammer!

Said his name was Steve with Commercial Electric asked for the shop manager sent to VM, calls back asking for the manager to be paged. Informed 'Steve' that he have to leave a VM. Eventually got the point and hung up. Very noise in the back ground like a call center.

Unwanted call.  Very rude person.

DO NOT ANSWER or GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THIS PERSON(s) / SO CALLED COMPANY. When you answer the phone he'll say, can I speak with the maintenance supervisor, Oh, I can't remember his name - expecting you will give it to him. When he doesn't get his way he says, why the tone. JUST HANG UP!!

Continue to get calls from this guy from "National" asking for "Fred" who doesn't exist, saying he spoke with him before about an order he placed.  Says he is in the warehouse now and must speak with him.  We give the name Fred out to these people for a reason.  He has been calling for a long time and gets rude occasionally.  I decided to tell him that Fred left me a list of orders he is waiting on and that I could check the list if he told me what the order was.  He said he didn't know what it was that is why he wants to talk to Fred.  I told him if we wanted to place an order we would call it in.  He continues to call and ask for Fred anyway.  Next time I am going to say hey it's your lucky day, Fred just pulled in I can keep you on the phone while we wait for him to get in the building.  I will make small talk, ask about the weather, his area, his job.  See if he likes his life, and tell him he should hate himself considering the line of work he is in, tell him to get end it all.  Hang up.

This gentleman called a few days ago. The name that was given to me was Steve and that he was with National Electric. He asked for our maintenance manager. I told him we did not have one and he claimed he spoke to him a few days ago, but could not remember his name. Scammer!!!!!

Said he'd spoken to our non existant head of maintanence, what's his name again? Politely told him he was a liar. He started screaming and yelling. Let him go on for a little while to entertain the other people in the office (he was that loud) before hanging up.

Get calls from this number several times a day. I just pick up phone and don't say anything. you can hear the call center in the background. they hang up and call back, I just pick up and hang up.

This number keeps calling me. They won't leave a message, and when I try calling them back, I get a message that says "this mailbox is full, please try again later" and immediately disconnects the call.
This is very bothersome, and they just won't stop trying to call me.

Scam man, same tactics

answered phone and was asked how I was doing. fine i said in a icy voice. This is one of the key signs that it is a scam/sales call. asked how the weather was and then hung up. I like it when they don't even try!!!! but sometimes it is more fun when they do! lmao

He asked for the building's property manager by name, but I don't have their info.  When I said this is the wrong number for them, dude was like "THE GUY I SPOKE TO LAST WEEK" as I hung up. LOL.
Very shady when these companies have their phone people lie to get in the door with ya.  There is no way dude got a hold of the suit who owns this property by calling one of their tenants. BS.

One other time, he gave me the "I'm at the warehouse right now ordering parts and i need this serial number so let me talk to blah blah blah..." OK.  I know that voice by now.  Never had the little girl call, though.

This guy keeps calling, changed his name on me a few times and changed his company name a few times. but the number and voice is always the same. I told him i googled his number and that hes "full of [***]". he didnt like that very much. he stilled tried to get me to page the maint. guy. we exchanged a few more unpleasent words then i told him im hanging up, but he beat me to it haha. background noise was that of a call center. im hoping he wont call back anymore.

They called again this morning, but this time is was a mousy kid who easily backed down.

Wanted our receptionist to "page" me overhead (we don't have a paging system).  When I picked up, he said "...there you are man, how's it going..." in a real stoner voice.  Even if these [***] WERE legit, who wants to talk to a salesperson who sounds like they are stoned!?  Are they calling from Denver?  Dude, leave me alone man!  Like, wow.

This company called claiming to be International Electric.
A guy called last week 3 times, and this week a girl claiming to be Jessica called and she was not only very rude but very very pushy. I told her that the man that called last week not only spoke to no one, but I was the one that he spoke to that told him that we do not have a maintenance manager here at our company. She got very mean and nasty with me and then hung up on me! Come on people! Get a grip. We are a very organized established business and the last thing any of us want or need is to be prank called by some punk ass scammers trying to rip us off! Do us all a favor and give up! What kind of professional calls and then when is put "on hold" sits there and talks about drugs & nasty stuff when they are waiting for someone to answer at the business they called from. I sat there for a few minutes and listened to this obnoxious little girl talk on and on about very inappropriate things until I finally said "Hello" again and then at that point almost had to scream to get her to hear me because it was so loud wherever she was at. I looked up International Electric and they are not in CA, but a company located in Shawnee, KS.
THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM OF SOME SORT! ALL BUSINESSES & INDIVIDUALS BE AWARE OF THIS PHONE NUMBER PLEASE...
