This man calls claims he is trying to contact the person in charge and he is with building maintenance.
He first called on 05/01/2014 and when he was told he was speaking to the person in charge he said, "He needed to get me to enter some vendor codes."  When I told him that he would need to be put on hold he stammered and said, "Oh wait, I have the wrong #," and hung up. 05/02/2014 called again and claimed he was with Allied and that he does the building maintenance for our company.  When asked his name and who he spoke with he said, "He couldn't remember who it was but he spoke with them just last week."  When he was told we do our own maintenance and when we need anything we go and get what we need ourselves he got mad and hung up.

Called wanting our maintenance manager.  Got pushy and rude when I wouldn't transfer him or give him the name.  Tried to pull out our director's name (who retired 18 months ago) as leverage.  Said he'd check his manager and get back to me.  He's going on hold next time.

Got multiple calls from this number this morning. "Frank" with "National" wanting to speak with my maintenance supervisor he spoke with last week but couldn't remember his name. Our maintenance supervisor was on vacation last week and I knew immediately he did not speak with him. He got very upset with me when I would not give tell him out maintenance supervisors name. Our maintenance supervisor does not have a desk phone to transfer to and the guy asked me if we were living in 1990 here. We like our maintenance to actually work in the building not spend the day at a desk talking to rude sales people. He has called several times before and if he calls back he is going to start getting fake names and numbers.

Do not engage in conversation with this guy - he will only try to manipulate you and confuse you.   I tried being polite and saying "no thank you" but it doesn't work - he just keeps calling back.   Just hang up.  It is a scam.

These people called today again.  Very rude trying to trick you into buying mass amounts of light bulbs, etc..  told me he was Bill and he was at the warehouse doing a pickup for Brian and needed to speak to him immediately about it.  Told him Brian was not in until noon and he got angry and told me that he needs his damn cell # then because he is there to pick up a shipment and has to talk to him.  I checked our warehouse camera and there was no one there to pick up so I asked what warehouse he was picking up from for us, our main location or 2nd location.  He then got loud with me and says no I'm at my warehouse picking up a shipment for Brian, if you would just put him on the freaking phone we won't have a problem.  I told him again Brian wouldn't be in until noon then he asks for his cell #.  Told him i'd put him on hold and try to get call Brian.  When I came back on the line and informed him that Brian knew nothing of any pickup at his warehouse and asked what company he was calling from/picking up from he got angry said never mind i'll call back later when i can actually speak to Brian but you could just give me his damn cell # so I can get this straight now.  I said no and got a phone slammed down in my ear.  Filed a complaint w/do not call db.  these crooks really need to be put out of business.

The person that called from this number said he was returning a call, but couldn't remember who. When asked about his company he said it was electrical maintenance. I put him on hold while I checked with the other people in the office and he hung up.

After reading a few posts here and the attempts made to get cell # of personnel, if he calls back I think I'll give out the local Police department or FBI office phone number.

A male from this number called, asked how I was and tried to make small talk. Pretty much knew by then it was a telemarketer/scammer/waste of a call. Said he was looking for the person in charge of maintenance for the building. Told him we lease the building so he would have to speak to the landlord and that wasn't happening so I just put the phone down for about 5 minutes until he hung up.

    Bubbish replies to Elizabeth
What the idiots try to do is somehow get you to agree to buy their lights and/or lighting products, cleaning supplies, etc., and then bill you 3-4 times what they are actually worth. I got a similar call several months ago (other numbers these clowns use are: 909-670-2218 and 909-267-6074) and they jerk said his name was "Bill, the electrician who was working for R--, our maint. mgr."  Wanted me to page him, and then demanded his cell ph #.  Very rude and pushy. I put him on hold until hung up.  I often wonder if being an obnoxious, sarcastic SOB is the major trait this company looks for when hiring telemarketers.

A man by the name of Johnny called. Asking to speak with someone that is no longer with our company. As I tried to reroute him to the right person he began to get very frustrated with my questions. Told me he needed to speak with someone in charge of maintenance immediately and when I asked for his number he refused to give it to me. After about a minute more of going back and forth, he end the call by hanging up on me. Very unprofessional and I hope he doesn't call again.

Calls and acts like he knows you and has done business with your company before. If you just go along with it, you will end up getting billed for product you didn't order.

called and asked what the name of the man in charge of maintenance that he spoke to last week.  I said that the only 2 men here are doctors and he certainly did not speak to them.   Assumed it was wrong number, but very odd call.

Caller asked to speak to John but can't seem to remember his last name.  Caller said he worked with him last week regarding the building maintenance.  My company is pretty big and I can literally pull up 50 Johns on my list.  This guy is crazy if he expects me to go through every John to find out which one is the right one.  I tried asking him for a last name but could not provide it.  All this sounds like a scam anyways.

    Non Profit Founder
Today we (our non profit) received a call from this number 909 670 2291.  After reading through all 4 pgs of comments/complaints it was basically the same type of call. He was too hurried and scatterbrained to remember anything about the supposed incoming call to him, supposedly by our nonprofit.
I have always been taught not to give out any information via the phone and told him the like. I told him when he had a name he could call back if he wanted. He got silent and then I guess he hung up, never got a dial tone.  We do not employ building maintenance here.

    IT guy
A man who told me his name was named Bob Hughes from a company called Commercial constantly called our receptionist trying to get my cell phone number. He wouldn't take no for an answer even though he never got it. Today I spoke to him and he acted like he knew me and started off by asking to send a catalog. That turned into I'll send you a free knife from Bass pro. Then let me place this order for you of some T-12 light bulbs and give me a PO to bill you. I told him at that time that he was not on our vendors list and we don't buy bulbs from him. Then he acted confused and not a very good liar obviously because he started to stumble when I asked him his name. This is obviously a scam of some sort. Do people actually fall for this crap?
