Ohhhhh, I forgot to mention, for anyone silly enough to call back this 'Mike' guy and "calls or e-mails him with the area code and phone number that they (the scammers) called" you are just perpetuating the problem.  All that does is double confirm all the information they already have on you (and hey if you email them, then they have your email also, and they can send you Scam Email stuff too, and they can sell that also, cha-ching).  Can we all just put on our thinking caps, if it is not your Mom, or a company you know, do not answer the phone !!!

Wow, "double confirm" the info we have on you?  Read the posts, all my contact info is there for you guys.  Everything we do is completely accessible and transparent and that's probably why your "conspiracy post" annoys me so much.  If you want off the list, then do something about it.  Hell, contact your state's attorney general, give him/her my info and have them contact me to remove you from the list.  BE WARNED I'll still need your phone number to do it.  I've done it this way before, so it's entirely likely that that the attorney general is in on this too.  I've been cordial and polite to each and every respondent on here, but in your case I will make an exception.  So feel free to indulge your paranoia, but if you're not going to do anything about getting removed from the list, then you really need to shut up about it.

Ohhhh I forgot to mention to anyone silly enough to buy into scam-guy's post.  Our SAN # With the national Do Not Call List is 10025429-125429-08.  In a nutshell, I have registered with the DNC list as an exempt entity meaning that we never sell or solicit, nor do we ever resell any personal information that we collect.  Since we're registered, if we were to violate that, our status would be revoked and we would then be subject to incredibly large fines.  As I've said before, any and all information that I've posted here is easily, and I MEAN EASILY verifiable.  There are bad companies out there, and they make it very difficult for those of us that are doing an honest job providing a service.  I've got about 75 people who work for me, many of them as a part time job to make ends meet.  Several of them are living off of this part time gig while they try to find a job in this crappy economy.  We're just trying to do our job, and you shooting your mouth off about our company, which you've demonstrated that you obviously know nothing about, makes it just that much harder.  
I think I've made my point, and if not, I've at least gotten Scam Scammerson out of my system.  No need to reply, I'm done with this and will not address you further.

Keep getting these no conversation and no relief.  Pain in the butt!!!!!!
Why isn't anybody doing anything about them.

Sam, the first number is mine, I don't know who the second one is.  it's a dialer, so if no one answers, it'll just keep calling back.  If you're saying you're answering and no on is there, then I need to do something about it.  Call me at 913.384.9494 or e-mail me at mike@vipresearch.net all I need is the area code and phone number that we dialed.  At that point I can remove you from our list, as well as, determine why no one spoke to you.  If it was the machine, then I apologize, because sometimes it just happens (although we endeavor never to do so).  If it was one of my agents hanging up on you, (which I can tell by the data) I'll terminate their employment.  This is just a survey, we're not trying to hassle folks.  If you read my previous posts, I've fired people for swearing, and hanging up on people.  I don't tolerate it, nor should you.  Again, my apologies and I'll remove you as soon as I get your info.

Sent an e-mail to "Mike" at their web site and received a very prompt one back stating that they would remove us from the list. All I could ask for.

I left them all a voice mail and followed up with a group email.

Thanks a bunch. These sketchy people are part of the same characters that keep calling and hanging up. I'm in the Do Not Call Registry so if they call me again I can take some legal action if I want.

I have been getting calls from this number repeatedly over the last several weeks, sometimes two or three times a night.  They always ask for my wife by name and if I say she is unavailable they instantly hang up.  I've tried several times to ask them to take me off of their calling list but I can never actually finish a sentence before they hang up on me.  Tonight I was annoyed enough that on the second call I told them I would get my wife and then just set the phone down and continued watching TV.  I felt bad but then again...

I will contact mike@vipresearch.net and ask to be removed from the list, but then again the agents that this company employs are not nearly as polite or as friendly as Mike would seem to wish.

If they do not respond to my request to take me off of their list then I guess the next step is to find out who is paying for their survey and contact them about the very poor customer service of this company.

How did you identify that they are identity thieves? Did you listen to any of their survey questions?

I went to the website and emailed a request that they remove me from their list.  I received a prompt reply saying they would do so immediately, but I got a call from the same number the very next day then another a couple of weeks later (tonight).

At first I was impressed with how quickly they obliged my request, but now I wonder if they did anything at all as promised.

called my parents house (where I happened to be visiting) and asked for me by name.  I came to phone and he said they were doing a survey of local listening habits.  I asked him how he had my # and he said "autodialer"  and I exclaimed "really, and those give you names now too?" he said "yes." I said he was lying and that I worked in telemarketing that used those and he hung up on me.  

what are they calling for?  How do they have our names??  And at my parents house?  wtf.

This is actually pretty sad that these people keep calling.  Its like European Vacation on crack!  We have young kids and they call after 9 pm all the time.  You are telling lies if you say you don't.  Just look all over the web Mike and see that your company, which you should be so proud of, are a bunch of [***].  You have harassed so many people more effectively than seemingly possible.  Wow.  I guess I see why people pay you so much money and how you can live with yourself.  Unfortunately, what you do is legal but doesn't make you any better than the pile of dog [***] I just stepped in.  See you in Hell Mike.

I've made the effort to remove people who don't want to be called.  I've posted my information over and over to help people get off the list (which is something that none of the other [***] companies do).  After reading your post, I immediately felt sorry for your poor dog.  If you got this fired up over a phone call, then you probably beat the hell out of him for pooping in your yard.  Best part is, both the phone call and stepping in the poop are easily avoidable.  Hopefully you've sent me your number, or talked to an agent to be removed, because otherwise, your little anonymous hateful post will do nothing.  I gotta give you credit, you've easily got one of the most entertaining posts I've ever seen.  Well Done!
