When I called back, the robo-person stated they would connect me with Google Voice.  A friend of mine does use this service when in a remote location where cell phones don't work.  However, I believe this is not legit.  I left a message stating they were to remove me from their list.

Note that the "do not call list" does not apply to business numbers. So businesses are now being bombarded with telemarketing calls. Contact your U.S. representative to complain and ask that something be done.

Automated voice offering to update my free google listing. Press 1, etc. These calls, from various numbers keep coming. I've tried to stop them (remove from list), to no avail. When I get the time, I will file a complaint with FTC (again) and the Illinois Attorney General. Since the calling number is really a google voice number, if Google can be "penetrated" to complain, maybe they can revoke privileges?

Got a call today. I answered, they told me my account on Google needed to be updated.  I told them I don't have a Gmail account and then began to tell them I am on the do not call list and to not call again, they hung up on me.  I get this call at least once a day.  I have filed complaint after complaint at the DNC webpage and absolutely nothing happens.

For the people that are forwarding the call to the Director of the FCC's office, you are forwarding a call and the number that will show up at the FCC will only be yours!  I don't recommend doing it.

Some of the call blocking phones ring once then send the call to the answering machine or they hear a busy signal.  The only thing that bothers me is the one ring and then the silence.  Which model works without the first ring.

You nailed it JETAMES - I used to get all upset over calls, too.  I don't any longer as I simply look the # up on this site then block it on my phone.  The only thing that happens is that my phone will only store so many numbers for blocking.  It is a fair number, but not nearly enough.  So what I do is delete the oldest blocked ones to make room for the ones happening now.

They called me the other day and i asked them to take me off their list.  Said it would be done.  They called back today and it was dead air.

I bought a high pitched whistle with a pea in it and when these [***] call, I blow it so loud in their ears that they are probably deaf when I stop.  Try it, they will not bother you again, I love it!

This is a scam company.  They say they are google, but they are a third party that will update your information.  They charge a large amount, and do nothing.  Do not even talk to them. Hang up.  I have asked them to stop calling, but they call me several times a week.  I keep a small air horn next to the phone.  One shot of that into an open phone line and they go away.  They are scum, treat them as such.

Received a call from this 915-996-2895 then hang up.  The caller does not doing anything but to harrassed the company.  The caller just made up the phone.

The Uniden phone I have does not ring when a blocked call comes in.

They called again and they were blocked.  My Uniden phone does not ring when a blocked call comes in..the phone simply lights up!

We are doing as 'ACE' above suggested and hope we don't miss any important biz calls - but all of our blood pressures are now within the 'normal' range - Thanks Ace!

1. Must have caller ID
2. Never, never answer a call unless you know it is family or friends or number you know.
3. If no message left, no harm done
4. If message left - you now have full control on what to do

Getting angry hurts only you - they could care less

Now relax and follow the above plan every time
