Nothing on the line when I answered. I did call Verizon minutes ago though. Weird.

Same thing as the rest of you have reported here. Today is March 9, 2017 - I had  just finished a call with Verizon about my account and after that call, I  received a callback from 916-589-8603. I did not pick up, and no VM was left so I am unsure if it was a survey but I assume so. Good to know it was Verizon and not some spam BS.

I do not answer any UNIDENTIFIED #s. Verizon should always be Identified.

Way to go, Chapsmyhide.  You hit it on the head.  I'm on the phone with Verizon right now, asking to be removed from the Survey call that I just got after a call to customer service. Thanks to remarks on this page, I knew who it was and could make the call to stop it.  Of course I've already had the call about my second call, too.....  She says it will quite soon.
I read your remarks to the agent, who said she understands our concerns.   Hope she passes the word up the chain!

Yes, it's from Verizon. Thanks for the post. I'm thinking I would have picked-up if I had know so that I could have "officially" filed a complaint on record. I already complained over the phone. With no ID that the call is from Verizon, I'm thinking a lot of people don't pick up. Perhaps Verizon likes it that way so there are less complaints logged?

I didn't answer because I assumed it was another spam/spoofed call. I agree with the other comments here that if it's Verizon, why don't they say so on caller ID? Surely, they must realize that today's phone system is so easily hijacked you can't trust any call that does not identify the caller. Unfortunately, it's gotten to the point that if the caller ID doesn't provide a name, I don't answer the phone.

I am on a do not call list. What part of DO NOT CALL does your business not get. Leave me alone permanently

Just Verizon satisfaction call

I'm going to block the Verizon number.  They have the ability to have Verizon Customer Care on the phone number.  In my opinion they are spam and part of the problem.

This is supposedly a call to sell me an extended warranty (which I already had purchased when I originally bought the vehicle) for my SUV.  I have asked to be placed on the do not call list repeatedly and they just hang up on me when I do.

If this is Verizon Survey then they should identify themselves so person receiving the call will recognize them & answer.  I never answer unidentified numbers without id.

I don't answer if just the caller's number is shown but no identify of caller.  If this was a survey I wouldn't mind answering the questions.  I made a call to Verizon this morning but they did not say I would receive a survey request.  I did not answer this call.  Sorry.

I got a call on my mobile from this number on 4/1/2017. There was no message left. If this is Verizon like many people say, why does't that show up on caller ID? It sounds fishy to me. I will not answer a call from someone who doesn't show up on caller ID. When Apple calls me the caller ID always shows that it's Apple no matter what number they use.  Blocked the #.

Same thing just happened 3 Apr 17, w me.  Verizon, I guess.  Didn't  answer . No msg. Sometimes these calls w just a state's  name under them are actually my dr's  ofc calling from some out of state area code, trying to remind me of a Dr's  appt!
Must be cheaper than having their ofc worker call?  Occasionally, I may answer, but 99% of the time, I don't!

If all of you that say the number was unknown on your caller id's how is it that your able to make your no caller id complaints with regard to this phone # (916 589 8603)?  I'm  not taking sides, I just don't understand how any of you are able to post your complaints under the phone number that you say you didn't recieve on your caller id's???

Spoke with Verizon earlier and minutes later started getting these idiotic customer survey phone calls. I blocked the number. And no, Verizon is not my favorite company and they did not resolve my issue because they charge too much for their services!

That funny I just had called Verizon to see if I could get my number unlisted.Then they themselves send me one with no caller ID. .I blocked it any way.

I didn't answer either. They called me on Easter Sunday.  Can't their customer service satisfaction survey wait until Monday?
