- JosephVerizon calling for answers to whether I was pleased with their service representative. This is the PHONE company. Showing no information on caller ID is crazy.
- PatrickThis thread is old so I decided to leave a note. Got 2 calls within half an hour, did not answer. Just don't want to take the chance, even tho I just called Verizon Customer Service for something. Blocked it.
- ginny| 1 replyI continuously receive calls from this #. Please stop calling me.
- Caller: 9165898603
- DoNotCallListUserTiredOfCalls| 3 repliesThis is a legitimate phone number (albeit unsolicited) from Verizon Wireless. After you talk to them on the phone (when you call their call center), shortly after they set you up for this automatic survey, without asking you if you'd like to complete a survey. I have blocked the number, as I dislike companies that call me later for surveys.
- Caller: Verizon Wireless Survey follow up
- Call type: Valid
- Tygerkat replies to ginnyPlease understand no one from this website is calling you. This is a phone number look-up site and your caller is in no way affiliated with it. Try a call blocker instead.
- Tygerkat replies to DoNotCallListUserTiredOfCalls| 2 repliesIf they're actually Verizon why don't they identify themselves on the caller ID?
- CaliforniascamI picked up and started the survey but one they asked me to record my name I knew it was a scam. Called Verizon and the verified that this was not their survey number.
- Caller: No name just California
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- RMThis is a legit call - it is Verizon Wireless customer service following up regarding the call I put in earlier today. It was completely automated, and no personal information was requested, they obviously knew who they were calling because the call closed by letting me know that a manager might call be back on the number associated with my account regarding the feedback that I left.

Just because somebody says this number is "legitimate" or "real" or something similar, Their statements may NOT apply to the call you received!
Yes,- The bad guys can spoof or fake what you see on your caller ID, and they can use "real" phone numbers to make you believe the call was from a legitimate organization.

- Rich Urban replies to PhoebeNot satisfied with Verizon at all you have put me in a run around with paying cancellation fees with Sprint also phones, this has been going on since February.
Three times you said said this was taken care of two hours on the phone each last one 4 hours littery I wish I could of canceled with you but I would loose money not worth it what a shame. - MikeIf this is a legit call from Verizon, then why doesn't caller id indicate Verizon? Or even the third party surveyor? I've just had two calls from this number and neither time did anyone leave a message. If that's not a scammer, then what could it be? And why doesn't Verizon just ask us to remain on the line and take the survey at the point of the call?
- Caller: ?Verizon?

- Jessethank you all-- I too had just gotten off the phone with VZW. I did not pick this one up, but I may in the future for "just a customer satisfaction survey." Too bad the operators don't tell you that VZ may call.
Necessary? Absolutely not. Be wary? Sure. A little annoying? yes... but it's also a reasonable business matter between a real company and a real customer who have a relationship-- not a prospect or a random opinion survey of whether one likes (the President... or blueberries....) , so I'm marking it "other valid" (below) instead of just "survey."- Caller: VZW

- Liberty 007Survey about session..
- Caller: Verizon survey
- Call type: Survey
- Ramona Gadbury replies to Michelle MahoneyNo... I don't want these types of calls.
- Dave replies to LissaLissa, your point is well taken. They should not be using a third party customer satisfaction survey company. Having said that, Verizon does use this central number for customer satisfaction surveys.
- SConstantly calling me from this number
- Caller: Don’t know
- TLI got 2 calls from this number right after talking to verizon as well. This number is now blocked from my phone. if Verizon is going to ask you to do a survey I would think that the customer service rep would say "after we are through talking, you may receive a brief survey" if that is truly the case. I don't answer calls from numbers that I do not know. If they were legitimate calls they would leave a VM.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- SisypheanNot a scammer, just an automated customer service feedback survey. Not very long and I could've just hung up if I didn't want to participate.
I agree with the comments that this is an odd way to do satisfaction surveys as the most common method is to present the option to participate at the end of the service call rather than an automated callback. Quirky but far from anything nefarious.+- Caller: Verizon Wireless
