- Mary McEachernWho is this number?
- Just an old manDealing with Verizon is on par with a medical appointment. Both are NO FUN!
- Caller: 916-589-8603
- 376NYCThey left a message telling me to call some 866 number to do a survey. But I didn't write the number down so won't be doing the survey.
- Caller: Verizon customer service
- Call type: Survey
- CJSame as the other posts
Had called Verizon an hour before and got a call with no message. - Sher| 1 replyThis must be Verizon calling for you to take a survey on the customer support person you just talked to. It would be nice if the caller id said “Verizon” instead of just showing the number from California. I don’t pick up the phone for numbers I don’t recognize and hate check-up calls being done on employees. They have a thankless enough job to start with, without the pressure of this.
- LakegirlJust finished call to Verizon, 5 minutes later got call. CID was Sacramento, CA so I did not answer. If it said Verizon I would have. Their loss for survey. Thanks to others who added notes as to what call was.
- Caller: Verizon
- Call type: Survey
- aeaeNothing on the line when I answered. I did call Verizon minutes ago though. Weird.
- PerBearSame thing as the rest of you have reported here. Today is March 9, 2017 - I had just finished a call with Verizon about my account and after that call, I received a callback from 916-589-8603. I did not pick up, and no VM was left so I am unsure if it was a survey but I assume so. Good to know it was Verizon and not some spam BS.
- Caller: Verizon
- Maxine V. replies to HoustonI do not answer any UNIDENTIFIED #s. Verizon should always be Identified.
- Tanya Elizabeth Stone replies to HoustonYes you are right it is drom Verizon thank you for your post. Very helpful
- Web User replies to ChapsmyhideWay to go, Chapsmyhide. You hit it on the head. I'm on the phone with Verizon right now, asking to be removed from the Survey call that I just got after a call to customer service. Thanks to remarks on this page, I knew who it was and could make the call to stop it. Of course I've already had the call about my second call, too..... She says it will quite soon.
I read your remarks to the agent, who said she understands our concerns. Hope she passes the word up the chain! - CQYes, it's from Verizon. Thanks for the post. I'm thinking I would have picked-up if I had know so that I could have "officially" filed a complaint on record. I already complained over the phone. With no ID that the call is from Verizon, I'm thinking a lot of people don't pick up. Perhaps Verizon likes it that way so there are less complaints logged?
- ChrisI didn't answer because I assumed it was another spam/spoofed call. I agree with the other comments here that if it's Verizon, why don't they say so on caller ID? Surely, they must realize that today's phone system is so easily hijacked you can't trust any call that does not identify the caller. Unfortunately, it's gotten to the point that if the caller ID doesn't provide a name, I don't answer the phone.
- BrookI am on a do not call list. What part of DO NOT CALL does your business not get. Leave me alone permanently
- Caller: Not positive. Poss Verizon telemarketing.
- Call type: Prank
- WandaJust Verizon satisfaction call
- Caller: Verizon
- Call type: Survey
- Todd replies to ChristinaI'm going to block the Verizon number. They have the ability to have Verizon Customer Care on the phone number. In my opinion they are spam and part of the problem.
- Becky HThis is supposedly a call to sell me an extended warranty (which I already had purchased when I originally bought the vehicle) for my SUV. I have asked to be placed on the do not call list repeatedly and they just hang up on me when I do.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DeeDee replies to PhoebeIf this is Verizon Survey then they should identify themselves so person receiving the call will recognize them & answer. I never answer unidentified numbers without id.
- Doris replies to PhoebeI don't answer if just the caller's number is shown but no identify of caller. If this was a survey I wouldn't mind answering the questions. I made a call to Verizon this morning but they did not say I would receive a survey request. I did not answer this call. Sorry.
- D.T.I got a call on my mobile from this number on 4/1/2017. There was no message left. If this is Verizon like many people say, why does't that show up on caller ID? It sounds fishy to me. I will not answer a call from someone who doesn't show up on caller ID. When Apple calls me the caller ID always shows that it's Apple no matter what number they use. Blocked the #.
