- qwerty replies to DuhUm no... Tom is saying the number field was shown but the name field said "unknown caller". Those two fields are different. If just the number is listed with no useful name info then I can see why he would say the caller did not identify themselves on the caller ID.
- Verizon customer replies to Steve stone| 2 repliesWho pays for minutes anymore? Is that even an option anymore?
- Yes... replies to Verizon customer...if you have a pay as you go phone...
- Linda replies to donk| 2 repliesI'm wondering why they don't identify themselves, too. I didn't pick up the phone because I didn't recognize the number.
- KatypaNEVER ANSWER THIS CALL !! Answering this call...this so-called survey...will corrupt your phone and jeopardize your security! THEY ported my phone to another carrier...stole my credit card number & charged thousands of dollars! Also forwarded landline to bogus person and voice mail account. My guess is that ANY deceit remarks concerning this number are done by the criminals themselves. Suffice to say, Verizon doe NOT have this line associated with ANY survey they conduct. DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL...EVER!!
- Caller: BOGUS VERIZON SURVEY
- LindaI spent almost 1 1/2 hours on the phone trying to get Verizon to honor the promise of $299 for turning in a phone. I recognize that what I was told by TWO Verizon representatives as well as a Target employee was not accurate, however I was told that three times. The Verizon people I talked to were empathic and very nice but did not have the ability to honor the promises I had been made. Certainly $300 is more importance to me than it is to Verizon. I was offered a $35 credit on my bill.

- Lynn replies to HoustonExcellent customer service!
- BobFor me it was Verizon calling to follow up on my experience with calling their support to answer a question. It would be helpful if they would identify who they are. I didn't answer the first call but thought this is who it might be the second time they called.
I don't mind the follow up call...........................- Caller: Verizon Wireless

- Hanne| 2 repliesThe fact that when we as Verizon customers need to speak on the phone to customer service, it's virtually impossible to find a phone number to contact them anywhere on their Web site is troubling to me. It's as if Verizon goes to great lengths to avoid interacting w/ paying customers. So when I get a voice mail and 2 add'l calls on my "recents" list to contact them, and then to let them know about my experience w/ customer service I have to call them on a different number, it's just additional evidence that in fact, they have no interest, really, in speaking w/ their paying customers (so what if I don't have to pay for a call...I pay them for my monthly service, and for my land phone and my Internet service...they should be willing to speak w/ me when I feel I need assistance from a real person, and I shouldn't have to waste ridiculous amounts of time trying to find a phone number, or spend additional time dialing them back when they call me).

- sheri replies to Houston| 3 repliesplease block this number to my cellphone ,I am getting call from this number Evey day
- Ellen replies to donkAgreed. And they also tried to FaceTime me!
- Ms. DThis is a legitimate number and call from Verizon. I had just hung up the phone from talking with a representative about a question I had and the phone rang with this number. When I called it back, it was a short survey about how satisfied I was with the assistance I got from the Verizon representative to whom I spoke. All automated - nothing annoying.

- annoyedReceiving multiple calls from various numbers, but there is no one on the other end. This number was the latest. Music in the backround. Ignored second attempt and the # left a VM with more music!!!! Who is providing my number...is it Verizon?????
- philnanI didn't pick up the call but thanks to all the posts i know it was verizon because i had an issue i called them about this morning. funny thing is I did the on-line survey... so not sure why they are bothering me with a phone call. send me an email or text! I also agree with earlier post that they should identify the incoming number as "verizon" ... maybe i would pick it up .
- DEM replies to Ms. DThat is what I do, yet they still call me back for the survey. Twice in half an hour. BTW, if you call 611 and get into the automated system, just say "customer service" when asked what the call is about. It takes you right to CS.
- Dave| 1 replyDon't call my phone. This is harassment.
