I get this call at least once a month.  It states "This call is for (my husbands name) If this is not (name) please hang up.  If this is (name) please listen to the following message.  

My answer machine always picks up and so I guess I acknowledge this is (name)  I have found out that it is a collection agency but WE DO NOT HAVE ANY DEBTS, except our mortgage which is and always been current.  Same for our one credit card.

PLEASE STOP CALLING !!  There are thousands of men with my husbands name.  If we owe a debt, send it to us in writing !!

The people calling from 919-821-1799 should have their balls cut off.

I got a phone call from these people. When I answered a recording came on that says "We have a very important phone call for you. Please hold on for our representative".

The recording did not ask for a person by name. So I held on thinking it was something for me. After 5 minutes, a man came on the line and starts to tell me I have a bill I had better pay them, etc.

I said who are you trying to call and what is the bill for? The man comes back that they are calling for Sears and it is a collection agency.

I told him that is odd, I have a Sears charge but it currently has no balance on it. He got nasty with me. So I hung up on him and called Sears. They tell me my credit is in good standing and they have no idea why this collection agency is calling me.

I called the collection agency back to take it up with them cuz it isn't me they want and the line is nothing but a busy signal.
A bunch of SCAM artists if you ask me!

You need to call the Attorney General and report them. You have 183 recorded calls from them sounds like a good way to get those scums out of business!

Many of the people they are calling do not owe them money.
These people called me about a a Sears charge card that has a zero balance. The person they are trying to call has the same name I do, but it isn't me.

I called Sears credit services to make sure no had used my Sears card. They told me my balance is zero and my credit in good standing. Yet, this collection company is still calling me.

You mention in your post for people to call them back. Guess what? They DON'T ANSWER the phone. It is a constant busy signal.

Others have mentioned that this is supposedly a medical bill collection agency. They seem to do other stuff too since they called me about Sears.

The called me and i dont even know them, im a prepaid, that phone is just for emergencies and i never gave it 2 anyone else accept family. I just hope they dont call me again or i will report them to the
FPCP.

Hello.919 821 1799 called me on my iphone. I did  not answer and they cursed at me on the message they left. I did not regonize the voice to anyone i know but that made me mad. I told my homies and searched them on yellow pages but they came up as unknown. Some one else who commented i think it was Luke, said he would report them to the FPCP and i did that. It helped a lot but still these people called me and i dont know who they were and they cursed me out. So i will not stop till they are in trouble

They called and asked for some Bob Hartman and if i wasnt him/her 2 hang up and if i didnt hang up they would arrest me. They said they trace phones 2 exact spots.

this is a true collection  agency. the reason i know is because i had an outstanding debt and got the calls also.  ya might want to check if you have an outstanding debt.  if you call back they will be more than willing to tell you what it is and you can pay in payments.  they do collections for a lot of companies. mine was a medical bill.

Get on Do Not Call list. Then if on call list for 31 days you can report them with detailed information (like I did) to help the Federal Government catch these law breakers! BTW this is the contact information.

BTW BEFORE giving out any personal information about ANY bills please call the company you have the bill with.  They will then tell you IF it has been sent to the collection agency and which one. Then the agency will mail you and give you a reference number or "case" number to better service you. THEY WILL ALWAYS MAIL YOU FIRST!!! Then you can call and speak with a representitive. Almost always they will be kind, understanding, and polite. You will always get a direct line, you will always get a name and phone ext., you will always receive a "paid in full" receipt. You can get a credit check for free once a year from www.annualcreditreport.com the only credit agency accepted by the Federal Government that is totally free. No fees unless you want to have access to your credit score for more than 1 time a year. Please check. There are so many places that "sell" your identity. Be wary of any phone call that is automated, asks for information first, or tries to get you to give out your credit card or check numbers. ALWAYS ask for their BBB number. All legit places have this. ALL legit places will tell you your information including address, phone #, name, and the amount of the bill and from who it was sent AND for what. Keep yourselves safe!

I get calls from this number (919) 821-1799 daily sometimes two and three times a day and they are asking for me.  However, when I agree to hold they take too long.  As others have stated you called me why should I hold.  I think this Absolute Colections collect medical bills.  Anyway they would be more effective loosing the stupid automated service.

I've gotten calls from this number consistently. I've asked them to remove this number because the person that they are asking for, "I do not know." Regardless, they still call. I am very frustrated.

I just got 3 calls in 3 minutes from them.  Don't know who they are but they can't be legit if they call that many times in as many minutes.  I just don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.

It is a medical debt collection agency in Raleigh, NC. They represent over 650 hospitals. They have multiple automated phone dialers and multiple pjone numbers. They do not care if it is the right number or not. They will continue to call. Their office number is 919-755-3900. You can actually request financial damages for the harassment.

Helpful message; they just started calling and I haven't even been to a bloody hospital since I left the military.  Next time they call I'll call the head office and reports there [***].  Cheers all!
