How can I stop this caller!

I received a call from 1-925-272-4590 "Safeguard" this afternoon at 3:15pm Sunday 11/13/11. A man wanted to come by tomorrow and give me a quote for a walk-in shower or tub. I said that I wasn't interested but he persisted in wanting to come by . When I asked him how he got my number, he rambled on about something or other and wanting to make sure they contacted all seniors in my/the area. I interrupted him and asked again "how did you get my number?" to which he replied that  "we have various ways" with a rambling again and abruptly hung up.

I Googled the 'phone number and will try to contact the "do not call "organization-to which I am signed onto

Received a call from these people. Put me on your Do Not Call list!

It is a carpet cleaner who calls with a recording. We don't even have carpets but hardwood floors.

They called me 7 time during last week but never left me a message ! they call during business hours, after hours or even this morninig, At 8:30am, I was in the bathroom! :p

annoying call saying they are from State Farm and giving estimates on walk in bath tubs. I said I don't want one. Persistant. What time will I be home? Will I be alone? Called twice. I called them back. "away from desk"

I called this company back at the number listed above.  I told the receptionist that our phone number is on te registed " DO NOT CALL LIST, and asked to be removed.

She assured me that she would give that message to the supervisor, and be placed on their DNC list.
I will advise if they call me again.

The people have called 5 times in the last 6 days as shown on my caller ID.  They missed Sunday.  I did an internet search on the exact phone number, this is the result as copied from Google :

They were going to have someone on my street tomorrow, and would like to stop by.....

I told them that if anyone represent them or selling spas, I would call the police.  I was the transfered to a supervisor (Claudia) and I repeated my plan.  She hung up.

I am on the do not call list and my phone is unlisted.

I also have a "Do Not Solicite" on my door.

Got a call from these scum and just reported them to the FCC

Selling bathtubs for seniors. Asked where they got the number they called. Said they did not know. Told them i have been on DNC list for many years. They said I should check my number is still there as the list expires after 6 years. Checked with the FTC. They said the list never expires and my number is still on it.

This number calls about once a week but they don't leave a message and it only rings 3 times, I can not get the phone in time. The kicker is that right after they call, we get a whole bunch of other misc. calls. Think they are all tied together. The do not call list does not really work unles it is policed and doesn't seem like it is.

I have received at least three calls from this outfit and asked them not to call me again.  And, yet the calls continue

After reading the other messages left on this site, I have to say I agree and ditto everything 'Smogtown' says except the part about threatening to call the police.  However, I think that's a good idea and that's what I'll do the next time this outfit calls as I have no doubt they will!

Call your phone service company and they'll tell you how to block numbers so you don't get those calls anymore.

Called, did not pick up, hung up without leaving a message.

I don't want these calls I don't have money to buy walk in tub, they call time after time.

They have a wonderful toll free number. Call it a few times till I got a human named Dalia.  She's nice but I think her bosses are [***].
