I have to wonder why an allegedly “legitimate “business would need so many phone numbers to call out on?

Web site lists a cleverly hid PO Box as an address.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Thanks for the # List. Just added all of them to my "2016 Spam" in my phones Contacts list. 3 minutes to add the numbers vs. untold number of spam calls. Thanks again!

P.S. and FYI to people reading this:
You can easily setup a 2016 Spam contact in your phone--add the bad numbers as they come in--and set the ringtone to a silent-ringtone.mp3  If you can't find that online on google you can make one in garageband or Audacity.
That way, when these idiots call they don't know they are Blocked, your phone never rings, and they are automatically listed as 2016 Spam(or whatever name you choose) in your Recent Calls list.

Even more important than the numbers are the links at the bottom of the page to report them as well as to learn what the law is and what they are required to do.  Also keep in mind that with smartphones you can download free call blocking apps that work very well.

I get repeated daily calls from this number as well as "949-447-2887". I don't answer numbers I don't know, so I googled them to see who it was. I do not owe a debt nor have I ever. Sounds suspicious to me.

Calls my cell, does not lv msg & I don't answer unknown #'s. Also 949-447-2887 & 949-2957, same. Guessing these 3 numbers are related to whatever the scam/spam is. I've put all 3 on silent ring, no vibrate! So happy I finally downloaded "silent" ring from app store!
