i just got a phone call from the number. I used to be a member of realtytrac, which ended this week.

we should look at doing a class action lawsuit they've violated so many regs and those people posting otherwise probably work for those companies

Received call - let it go to VM, of course, no message.  Based on what I see posted here, i'm in the same boat, a former realtytrac temporary member.  The bad news, if you actually read their privacy policy, found here, http://www.realtytrac.com/pub/privacy.html?a=b, they have a few clauses which basically negate the whole we don't share your info.  Buyer Beware.

I really enjoy Realtytrac's service and what they have to offer. Do you really have nothing better to do in your day then sit here and complain about this company. You obviously no nothing about Real Estate and thats why you had a temporary membership. Grow up!!

Just received a phone call from the number as well...also a former member of Realty-Trac.  Also, I am registered on the national "Do Not Call List" as well.

Everyday I come home from work to find a call from this number. I have even been here to answer and they just hang up.

Surely there is a way to get this crap to stop.

i agree with you .... i recently ended my membership with realty trac and now I am getting calls from this number.  a little suspicious, huh?

I don't answer because I don't know who it is.  They never leave a message.  Guess what?  I was a one month member of Realty Trac too!
Earlier in the evening I had received a call that came up on my caller ID as:  Jeffry Golas 413-655-2779 and the caller referred to me by name.  I asked who this was and he said his name was "Jim" and he had a business deal to discuss with me.  I said to him "how did you get my phone number?"  He said "Phone Book"  I said "try again, I am unlisted".  He said he was just going through the numbers in order.  I told him I was not interested and hung up.  Then I got to thinking...HOW did he know my name then?  Really gave me the creepy crawlers since I have been a victim of identity theft recently and the guy is now in prison for it.
My oldest son called this jerk back and demanded to know how he got the number and he tried to tell him the same thing...so  my son got really angry and the guy said he got it off 411.com.  We checked on that and all it tells is my town.  I am unlisted.  There is no way this guy found me randomly.  He got my name and number from someone obviously.  Wondering if it was also Realty Trac.

They guy called me and rambled on for a while which made me just hang up on him. He called back and left a message calling me strange and odd for not wanting to donate 15,000 dollars into training. What a joke. Think we could press charges against someone for this crap?

I just got the same pre-recorded message from Realty Trac. The time was 5:50 pm. After reading all your stories I find it funny. I never had a membership with Realty Trac. I called them back and left a message asking them to remove my phone number from there list.

Okay people, on the serious side. If you’re looking for Real State Investments, go to http://www.williamsauction.com . There are no membership fees, nothing. Also look in Denver Colorado, they are selling real cheap. I just purchased a very nice 3000 square feet, two story home for $83,000. Good Luck.

Buyer Beware. They are just trying to sell you there idea. Don't waste your hard earned money.
