- You have much to learn replies to Informed| 1 replyThe processing statement is a rue to legitimize what is nothing more than a scam. Don't do business with this company. If you do, you will really, really regret it.
- nonprofitJust got a call from Juanita...called back and the lady was RUDE b/c I canceled any appointments and ask to be taken off a list. She said they are not telemarketers...PHISY!
- Annoyed by telemarketing scammersGot a call from "Jennifer" wanting to speak to whomever is in charge of our credit card merchant account. She said she was with Merchant Services, we told her no-one is in right now, can you leave a message or phone number she said no she will call back next week.
Funny thing is we don't accept, take or deal with credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards. Talk about some dumb telmarketers.- Caller: "Merchant Services" ???
- Merchant Provider replies to the punisher| 6 repliesThere is no scam involved here. We find that most merchants do not understand how to read their statements and we offer to come teach them. We do offer processing, but you are not obligated to move to our service. We find that most people are being over-charged and in fact would like to be treated fairly, but you are under no obligation. This is for your benefit only.
- Merchant Provider replies to Stef| 2 repliesWe are powered by First Data, most merchants do process with a First Data affiliate, so you may in fact be processing with First Data. We find that most merchants do not understand how to read their statements and we offer to come teach them. We do offer processing, but you are not obligated to move to our service. We find that most people are being over-charged and in fact would like to be treated fairly, but you are under no obligation. This is for your benefit only.

- Mary Lou replies to Merchant ProviderLIAR!! I got suckered into signing with you 3 years ago. No one ever gave me a contract. I had no idea it was a three year commitment. Now that the contract is up... I gave the required 90 day notice and you still want to charge me $495 to cancel even though I gave the required 90 day notice. I was assured on more than one phone call that I would not be charged and now I am!!! You people are crooks! And I am reporting you...
- LPSame as all the others. Three calls so far this week, offer to send an analyst out right away...
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MacShawn (Sean?) at x 7044 also called here... had to leave me a voice mail. When you call back x 7044, you land in a voicemail box there that thanks you for contacting their "call center" and asks you to please state your name and the name of the person who contacted you, and "your call will be routed to the appropriate person." Uh-huh. That inspires confidence.
Unfortunately, too many merchant account companies have the name "Merchant Services" in their business name (ie, FDMS = "First Data Merchant Services"), so it's easy for these guys to confuse folks.- Call type: Unwanted

- SKNVZNSI almost fell for this cuz I was so busy when I received the call. As I was scanning my statement to email it, I realized that my credit card processing company should already have this information. So, I googled the phone number that called me, and found this page. Feel bad for those who fall into these scams.

- Not Stupid AnymoreI received quite a few calls and kept blowing the person off. Finally I called my merchant services rep and she gave me this website. I have been working for 44 years. I learned how this works many years ago. I was only burned once and once is enough.
