These people called my mom with message to call back same day.  She called me upset about it.  I looked up number and found out JDI is a scam.  I called my mom back and told her not to talk to them and if she did to tell them to go to h*%l.  No more than 45 minutes to an hour afterwards they called my house with the same message.  I called the number.  The minute they picked up the phone I told them not to call my number again and to leave my family alone too.  I figure they have caller id too.  I have enough problems without any scamming phone calls.By the way the scam number is 951-737-4800.

Rceived a call from this number, they left a message that they have tried to reach me several times, not true this is the first call I have ever received. Basically said they were calling me about my property(I don't own any property a this time). I called the number and they identified themselves as JDI associates. I am sure this is a scam. Woman was rude so I hung up. People are such bottom feeders!!

just got a call with all the same exact thing and decided to google this and WOW!   Thank u Lord i found this site  It made me so nerves when they said property addres.

Yes, I received a message from JDI and associates. The call was placed from 951-279-4500 and was told to call 951-737=48oo. I was told my husband was neing sued for an old mastercard. When I asked for the SSN the person, "John" hung up on me. I called back and John admitted to hanging up and when II asked again, he did the same thing. I called back a third time asking for someone in charge and spoke with a Mr. Martin who gave the last 4 digits of 2400. which do not belong to either me or my husband and he stated he would remove our number.  I believe we have received calls at least twice before from them or an outfit like them, threatening to send a field investigator.  In the reverse look up, the 737-4800 is registered to a William Bryant in in Corona. It also gave a name for the 279-4500 number.  I hope someone puts these people in jail!!!!

Received an angry message from 951-279-4500 about a "land trust", told to call 951-737-4800, then when I called them to tell them I think they had a wrong #, I was told that whoever they were calling for (wasn't even anyone who lived here) needed to call back 951-271-4840.  Said they were going to serve someone for a civil suit and they had very important information.  Really weird.

These people called my home around 7:10 pm; however, when I see a call come up from an area code that I do not recognize I NEVER answer it. The moron left a message saying that "you need to call us urgently pertaining to some property". I found it amazing that the message kept referring to "you", which was an indication that they do  not have a name; hence, it is a scam. I wish these people would go and find a legit job!!!

I recieved a call from this company on the weekend and when I answered, I heard a recording that stated to call immediatly cause I had been named as divindant in a civil suite of the property address.  My wifed callled the number back to see what was up and they would not tell her anything.  We knew something was wrong, we don't own any property.  We did not give them any information.  Today, they called my work number and said they were tranfering me to another departement to verify data.  I told them this was my work number and they needed to loose it.  If I recieve any further calls from them, I was going to file a harasment suite against them.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY TO YOU.  THE LAW PROTECTS YOU.

I received a call today from JDI & Assc. Same thing they need to talk to me about my address and said the street name. So I called my bank and they said they didn't know anything about them. Beware this is a scam!!!! I hope more people search the internet before they contact or return any calls to them.

They are currently investigating fraudulent debt collection in the Corona area, and just sued a bunch of them.

The guy will call your work stating he needs to serve u papers its a complete lie. He calls himself David Murdoch & claims u have a credit card debt. He will threaten u with court proceeding if u do not give him your bank information he will be very arrogant & rude. I'm so glad for the comments left by everyone because I was able to confirm this is indeed a scam. J D I Associates is a bunch of BS beware he will email u a fake document showing what the agreement is stating Stephanie La Fortune sent it how clever they make their fortune off your account please beware! 951-271-4862 & 951-271-4800 are some numbers they  use beware there are many more....

got a call from them a few weeks after my child was born...in a panic to "not be served papers" I agreed to pay (didn't know about the scam at the time). David Murdoch told me he would email me a letter of the agreed settlement. It was a boot leg MS Word document, from the email address of a Stephanie La Fortune, and it wasn't even signed. Anyway, I agreed, gave them a check, and they debited $ out of my account. I called back a few months later to ask them to send me documentation stating the account was paid in full...the phone # didn't work, no one returned my emails, and the address listed was to that of an entirely different company. I called over and over, left lots of messages, no response. So I called the bank, closed my account, and they gave me my $ back.  ALL OF A SUDDEN I get a call from David Murdoch again asking me why my checks bounced and if I'd like to pay with a debit card. So nooooow the phone # works and he's answering calls! Before I talked to him, I did my research. Totally fradulent company that uses several names/numbers etc. When talking to David, he got angry cause I called the company out calling them fraud, and started to curse me out! They then had a Chaz Martin (the "supervisor") call me back. He was calm and convincing...he had allll the answers. It's still BS. I told him my father worked for the FBI and I would put him on the phone to handle it....next thing you know...dial tone..."Chaz Martin" hung up.

I keep getting this info about property and I haven't been there in years.  I once called but no answer so I figured it was bogus.

My husband had recieved the same exact call and he was flored cause he was at work and embarresed,so he gave them same info his check card but no other bank info.I also stupidly called them and made a paymeant arrangement this was Dec 22  right before christmas,they were ok with the fact they could get the money,how ever what they didn't no was that my dad is a lawyer.He told me cancel my husbands account card,they got what they deserve right back.I haven't stopped there I got a hold of channel 5 news to investigate them.

I keep getting these calls. I am glad to have found this website confirming this was a scam.

Today I had a voice mail exactly like the above people about our property. I called back 951 737-4800 and talked with Phillip Reynolds with JDI & Associates. When I asked what is in reference too, he stated he needed to talk to my daughter. I advised she did not live her, and in order to give her a message, I needed to know what it was in reference to. He stated can only tell me it's about a civil matter. I advised ok. Let's see if they call me back. My daughter is a little smarter then me, she said she had no intention to call them back.
