just got a call says automotive warranty, I hit the answer button then immediately disconnect, like bam bam, they never call back

Got a call from the same number.  I picked up.  Woman said they didn't get a signed warranty extension letter they had sent me on a car I never owned.  Told her that her call was a f*cking scam and hung up.  But now they now my number is valid.

it is Heavy spam activity suspected.
Instantly ID and block spam calls on Android. sick and tiered to get calls like that. WE NEEDS PROTECTION FROM ALL OF THEM. Where is police or government ? who can keep our privacy? We paid for telephones and i phones, not for criminals.

according to this auto warranty, my home number is a dealership and I get calls at all hours. when i ask to be removed from their system, they hang up on me, return call number states "disconnected". its a wonder how they can change the outgoing caller ID to show anything they want.

Just another auto warranty scammer.  Said they were with the warranty dept.  When I asked if she was related to Toyota she said "Yes and I'm glad you asked.  We recommend that you go to your dealership nationwide."  I then asked again if she was with the company that my Toyota warranty is with and she said yes.  When I said I had called the dealership and they said the warranty company doesn't call people, she hung up.

Called my cell - left no message.

I didn't answer, left no msg.

Person said my factory warranty was about to expire and they represented toyota and lexus and could sell me an extension of that warranty for $2395.
My dealer said they were selling a worthless plan that was not honored at any toyota dealership.

Got a call this morning. Didn't answer and didn't call back. I blocked the number.

Auto warranty - strung them along like I was interested. Kept telling Richard I was sorry I had missed his three prior mailings. Was transferred to a lady who told me for $199/mo for the next 20 months they'd cover me for another 4 years or 100,000. When she asked for my cc info I asked her for the company name, she hung up.

Calling about a car warranty. It's a scam. She hung up when I questioned the integrity of the call.

Continually calls for warranty from Chrysler Dodge they do not take no for an answer and from what I understand they are a scam

First, how do you know where "most" call back from? Please supply the evidence, or cease making stupid claims.

Second, yeah, some of you are so stupid as to call back from your home number and then, they have that. PROBLEM SOLVED!  Uff da!

But when you call any number, they now know what number you called from, and they will call you at that number!
So if it's not a number you recognize, NEVER call them back, period.  Like Blastuph said, "Google it first"..

Had 20 minute conversation with them.
They were trying to sell 100K mile extended warranty to my vehicle.
They knew when I purchased my vehicle and serial number on my vehicle.
They had my house address when I bought the vehicle but I have moved 4 times since buying my vehicle. So they didn't have my current address.

I started asking questions and the call representative starting getting nervous, interrupting me several times, and eventually hung up on me.
I asked for a call-back number but they wouldn't provide.
I asked for them to send me their deal, and they said they couldn't.
They said I had to activate the coverage by phone NOW or I would lose it.
Scam.

This one was pretty funny. When I asked to be removed from their list, the guy asked me what I was talking about. He then proceeded to tell me that he was not a telemarketer, and that he wore a suit and drove a Porsche. When he continued to try to sell me the warranty, I asked him to remove me from his list again, and he told me he would "Close down my file", and also "Step on your file with a [***] filled shoe". Nice guy.

Early morning call and a very aggressive caller.  When will action be taken against automatic dialing and unwanted calls.

Calls from Warranty company to sell additional Warranty services. I have asked several times to be removed from their list and added to a do not call list. Refuses and will report to police, BBB and FCC.
