It worked, I just put my number on their do not call list. This Ben has been calling for days on end all hours of the day and night! I let the answering machine pick up and of course they hang up. Extremely annoying!! Hopefully the do not call list takes effect immediately, we shall see if good ol Ben stops calling me all hours of the night! Thanks!

Yes, I too have been included in this exclusive group of being harassed by ben stonebridge!  I called the Erie County Sheriff's Office to voice a complaint and Ireported this on November 20, 2007 - report #07-85439 by Deputy Danielle L. McGlothlin.  I tried to reach Verizon but received no assistance from them.  They wanted to charge me 4.95 to block the call but why should I pay to have this as I am trying to sell my home in Huron, Ohio.  According to a report from the Sheriff's office this plan is not available in the following states AK, CT, KS, MT, ND, NH, NV, OH,OK, OR, SC, SD AND UT, ETC.  I BELIEVE WE SHOULD ALL GET TOGETHER AND SUE J C PENNY FOR PLACING ALL OF US IN THIS SITUATION.  IT SEEMS WHEN I MENTIONED THAT I WILL CONTACT THE FBI AND CIA THE LAST CALLS WERE NOV 2, AND NOV 3.  I TOO HAVE REQUESTED NOT TO BE CALLED BY "CRANKS" BUT DO BELIEVE IT WORKS FOR THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR AND YET DAILY I HAVE CALLS FROM MORTAGE COMPANIES AND SO FORTH.  THE BEST WAY IS NOT TO HAVE CHARGE ACCOUNTS BUT HAVE DISCOVER CARD SERVICE AND NOTHING ELSE.  LET US HOPE THAT DISCOVER CARD WILL ASSIST US WHEN WE HAVE A SITUATION AS THIS.  I AM GOING TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT WITH J C PENNY AS SOON AS I CAN.  THIS IS ONE WAY TO PUT A STOP TO "GREED" -  BUY ONLY WHAT ONE NEEDS AND PAY CASH.  THANK YOU AND HAVE A GOOD THANKSGIVING THIS YEAR.

I too have been harassed by ben stonebridge calls.  I finally called the Sheriff's office in Sandusky to make an official complaint against this unasked whatever it is.  called verizon and they said to have the police issued a written notice of this situation (which I did and received a number of 07-85439) which I was to inform Verizon who in turn were to follow thru.  Verizon wanted to charge me $4.95 to block.  I refused to pay for something I did not create.  I am asking everyone to form a class action group to sue J. C. Penny and Ben Stonebridge for harassment - why should the public be subjected to such performance.  It seems that J. C. Penny should know better than to turn our accounts over to such a group (greed I suppose).  However, there should be action initiated.  It only takes one to start the ball rolling.  I am positive they (jcp/bs) have other numbers they use for now I am having other numbers appear with no voice.  I too have listed for "do not call" for it does not perform as promised.  What J. C. Penny does not realize they will lose all the business they thought to garner with Ben Stonebridge or for that matter other promotions!  They do not think of the resulting results!!! I have done some research on the (954) 926-0167 (Hollywood, FL).  If you call the number back you do not have the option to speak to anyone.  The recording provided simply provides you with another phone number.  This number is 1-800-527-5717 which is a call center for Stonebridge Benefits Services Inc., a direct to consumer marketing company(www.stonebridgebenefit.com).  So here is the chain of events:  AEGON is the parent company of Stonebridge Life Insuarnce Company., Stonebridge Life Insurance Company maintains an admininstrative office in Plano Texas which is also known as Stonebridge Benefits Services Inc. (the 1-800-527-5717 number), which is related to the 954, Hollywood, FL phone number through some type of marketing agreement from what I can tell.
 When you call the 800 number for Stonebridge Benefits Services you will not have very much luck in regards to complaints because the folks answering the phones are simply sales reps trying to pitch products.  Don't worry, I was able to penetrate a couple layers and have a direct number for you to call.  Here it is (972) 881-6378, this persons name is Elaina.  I made her aware of the (954) number and she assured me that she would take care of the unwanted calls.  I have not received any calls since.

We are aggravated with these calls. We have answered the phone and told them not to call us, but that doesn't seem to stop them.

We get these calls from Ben Stonebridge all the time, totally tired of it.

Calls constantly, leaves no message.  And I am on the do not call list.

Ben Stonebridge starts calling my number at 9 am and calls several times during the day and evening.  I let the answer machine pick up but no message is left.  It is very annoying.  "Ben" - can't be to bright if no one answers after several months of repeated calling, yet he continues to call everyday - even on Sundays.  I am not interest so please stop calling.

Calls around two times a day around 11:30 am and then 4:00 pm pissing me off i pick up the phone cause i got called id and i tell them them off and they hang up and how either way if i don't pick up i hate this call how do u make it stop i called it and it says disconected.

Yes...from a Ben Stonebridge...call and they say it is about certain benefits...and to put your home phone number in....for do not call list.
