Guy asked for the owner and I asked him why. He just kept asking me questions which I would not answer. He wouldn't answer any of my questions so I just hung up.

I also received a call from "INTERNATIONAL A" <9723317540>. I have learned either not to answer my business phone number (if they are legit or important would leave some kind of message) or if I do. Will simply say "HELLO".

A lady said. "Sorry I have a wrong number"

Number looked strange as it came up with country code first so (0119723317540 on call display) but I answered it politely and he said "Hello XXXX" (my bosses name). I said, sorry but XXXX wouldn't be in the office today" and he paused and then asked if I was one of the owners. Now I was quite suspicious and said sorry, but I was not and what was this in regards to. He grumpily re-emphasized XXXX so I hung up. If he couldn't figure out the first time that he really wasn't going to get an audience with the boss, pulling attitude wasn't going to get him anything but hung up on. Glad to find out he was nothing more than a jerk cold caller.

They called AGAIN today, but this time it was a "Willimena" from IAG. I just told her they couldn't speak with anyone.

caller was looking for an "owner" -- asked him if I could help. He said "welp" in his texas accent then hung up. These jack-[***] have called here before.

They said they were "IAG" - and since I am not the owner of the company they would not talk to me and said it was "PERSONAL".   Looks like they are an aquisition company from Texas???  I told them we are not interested.  THEY KEEP CALLING.  I ASKED THEM TO STOP.

Why waste your time telling them to do something they don't understand, which is what don't call anymore is? Despite the fact it is illegal, most of your pests aren't going to care. Instead, waste their time by letting your phone ring clear through if possible so they get absolutely nothing calling. That often works for really removing yourself from their list.

So tired of these calls.   As someone that answers the phone for the business.......................it becomes quite irritating.   Asked for the owner by first name.........told her he wasn't in.    Asked if I could take a message..........said no and hung up.            IF someone is looking for a service, etc. etc.      THEY will call...........don't do the telemarketing "s@@t" and be rude.    Even if it was something that someone was in the market for  these tactics totallllllly turn people off and aggravate them to no end!!!

Got a call from 972-331-7540 - asked for the owner same as everything everyone else is reporting.

Just received a phone call to our business.  The person on the other line mumbled our owner's name, and he's never available if I cannot give him information about who is calling.  Asked if they would leave a message and I was hung up on.  We would never do business with a company that uses underhanded tactics and is straight up rude!  I look forward to denying them access to my boss in the future, because I am certain they will call again.

just got call from this number, did not answer. now after reading this, i'll hit the 'block' button.

I received a call from a Patrick White of IAG, he asked to speak to the owner, when I asked him what it was in regards to he asked me if I was one of the partners.  This is called intimidating, I further questioned him what does IAG do and he said M & A, I asked what that was and he said my boss would know.  I placed him on hold and realized this meant Mergers and Acquisitions.  I got back on the phone to take a message, when I told him he was referring to Mergers and Acquisitions he hung up on me.  This is a scam!

The caller insisted on speaking with an owner, when questioned several times why he needed to speak to an owner he wished me good luck and hung up.  I now ask any non business callers if they want to purchase a door or hardware.  I also request to speak to their owner.  They don't seem to enjoy these questions.

Perhaps the rudest telemarketer I've ever had.  Wouldn't tell me who he was with, kept asking for the owner, got angry when I wanted to take a message and started throwing insults at me.  Seems like they're hiring ex-cons or maybe current convicts to do their telemarketing for them.  What a bunch of lowlifes.  Reported and blocked on Hiya app.
