Harassing Phone Calls: What To Do

SPAM - said will arrest me

I have received 3-calls today thus far, and many over the past months from This Phone Number, 1-800-994-2184, Unidentified Caller posing as the IRS. This Person states that an Outstanding Warrant has been issued against me. This is Fraud, and the tenure of the Recorded message is one of a Threatening Nature, not to mention Harassment..This Number needs to be reported and Prosecuted..Threats and Harassment should be the charges..The IRS does Not phone you of an impending Warrant, but, send Written Notification, and a way of scheduling a face to face meeting to resolve the issue...This is a Internet Scam and Internet Fraud, and the proper authorities need to Stop this Caller (s), and Prosecute them...

What about calls that don't have the correct amount of numbers? 21030145?

Avoid all this with one easy rule to live by - if it's important/someone you know they will leave a message.

i receive phone calls from a broad name lisa from2242042029 and she keeps calling talking about my car warranty  U HAVE NO CAR STOP THE DAMN CALLING

7739448078 called me today, let the phone ring only once and then they hung up.. dalled them back and some broad was yakking some jibberish and then hung the phone up  STOP CALLING ME whiever you are and how the H did you grt my number?

The call might be for the previous owner of the phone number, too, if the number is new to you.  I got a lot of calls for a deadbeat right after I moved and got a new number.  It happened with both our cellphones, as well.

From midnight on, robocalls every 15 minutes without caller ID or number. Have to put phone on airplane mode or switch off. Can’t block  without some identifying info.

I keep getting a call at least 10 times a day compEtency Services about a back brace or a knee brace ,I keep telling them to take my phone number off their list ,10 minutes they call me again ,what can I do ?

This is a good one as I did call police as I heard something in or around my house and the did come but didn't do anything other than to tell me I needed to see my doctor~~~~POLICE PROTECTION!!  I highly doubt it and they should be ashamed of themselves!!!

Being on the do not call list doesn't stop spammers.  They totally ignore it.

Tell them to send a certified letter. If they cannot give you your address and ask you for it, it is a bogus call. DO NOT give them your address. IT IS A SCAM to scare you into giving up your money. I get these calls EVERY DAY. MY attorney says to try and get THEIR address...lol. When I ask them forTHEIR address, they hang up.

Keep blocking their number(s). I have thousands on my block list..lol.
