Go to your bank or credit union and tell them what happened. The bank or credit union will reverse or disallow the charge to your account, and then cancel your debit card number and close your account, and give you a new account number and new debit card number - but it will be a little while before the new debit card arrives in the mail.

Told them I changed my mind about getting Wal-Mart $100.00 Visa card for $4.95 S/H fee. Ray Martin ( YEA RIGHT ! ) got angry and told me that they were going to charge my credit card $39.00. I called my credit card company and had them to put an alert on my account. You better believe this is a lesson learned. This was done on 11/04/2016 . I could have kept this to myself but my mistake just might warn someone else of this SCAM. !!!

2017 they are still doing this with a survey phone call beware
I had something simular happen to me. I called my pay card that I get my pay checks on (the company I work for deposits it all on a debit like card) to check the balance and got an automated offer for 100 dollar walmart card. The company is a generic sounding company and I'm sure it's foreign. I hit 1 to see what would happen and our hung up on me. I'm hoping my check is on it this week and not stolen.

I just received a call from (425) 365-0885 on my cell phone from a woman that wasn't easily understood as her English wasn't great and she had a very thick accent. She told me that she was Karen Martinez from the rewards department and that I was entitled to a $200.00 reward to thank me for being a valued customer. The reward would be valid at Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowe's, and others. I asked her who she was and what company did she work for and about 5 times she stated the name Karen Martinez from the rewards department before finally telling me that the company name was Save Today and she explained to me that I would be receiving my reward in the next 7-10 days and that it was valid at all these stores because I am valued as a customer and then she finally said that in order to get my reward processed and on its way to me that it would only be a one time shipping charge of $4.95 and I said no I thought I was entitled to a reward as a valued customer and I was going to receive $200.00, you don't pay for rewards they're rewards.... one is rewarded as a gesture on the part of the one rewarding them and doesn't have to pay for the receipt of the reward. She repeatedly attempted to convince me that there was no cause for concern and even told me that I could speak to her supervisor and have them give me a confirmation number and advised me that should a problem come from it and money be taken from the account that I hadn't authorized that the bank has the legal obligation to and absolutely must replace the funds within 72hrs. I told her I had no money and she said she could put a hold on it to give me time to deposit it. She kept on and on asking me (calling me by name like we were associates or friends) you don't want your reward, don't you want your reward. I told her that I did not want my reward and could not pay for the shipping and she finally said okay and told me to have a nice day and ended the call. She said the website was goshopandsave.com Thanks for letting me share with you. I hope nobody gets taken by these people. Trina Lewis Jamestown, Louisiana
