Geez Louise, people are really, f#cking stupid! I almost feel like all the idiots who fell for this (and whose banks and police departments can now hold THEM liable for fraud) actually SHOULD go to jail...Maybe there they'll wise-up and lose some of this scary-as-hell-so-I-hope-it's-[***] naivete about money just falling from the sky into their lap without any consequences.
What's worse than 'falling' ('cause, c'mon you're not really that dumb that you believed it, are you?! You just thought you'd get away with cashing a bad check, right?) the scam is actually something else I picked up from your comments... The parts where you're bemoaning the families you have to feed...So am I to understand you actually passed down those fine genetics to a whole new generation?
Why is it always the stupid and ignorant ones breeding like rabbits? Oh that's right, the rest of us actually go to college (and grad school) then work our way up to high-paying jobs so that we have the money & financial responisibility to provide for our children when we're ready to have them. We show self-restraint and make responsible decisions so we won't be desperate enough to fall for this scam or the like in the future.
For all those I'm ragging on (and for all those who fear you might turn into the type I'm ragging on) IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO TURN YOUR LIFE AROUND. (student loans, birth control/abstinence, savings, better jobs, better partners, EVERYTHING! If you have access to the internet, then you have access to the tools to get the rest.) Even if you've royally screwed yours up, teach your kids or grandkids about the best paths for them to take...The road may not seem easy now, but it will prove to be the smoothest in the future!

My son received a check from GTM out of Stamford, CT in the amount of 3990.00. He was told to deposit the check, then in a couple days send $3510 via western union to a person that they would provide a name for later. I called the # and spoke with "Daniel" who assured me that it is a valid check and a valid deal. He said that Western Union puts up the $3510, so they can have the money deposited back into Western Union and then you can provide feedback for WU, to make sure their employees are following the rules for wiring money over $3500.00. It sounded too good to be true so I called the bank that the check came from. They told me it was a scam. I called Daniel because I was sooo mad and told him what the bank told me. He quickly hung up and now will not answer my calls.

I got the same letter from Global Test Market and a check for $3,990.00, THIS IS A SCAM! It looks like a legitimate Mystery Shopping opportunity for you to make $200 but the instructions tells you to wire $3K back to them. Please do not deposit the check because what will happen after you already wire the funds back is, their check will bounce and being that you already sent the funds away, you will be required to payback the over $3K back to your bank. THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT DO THIS!!

got the same letter i was gonna go cash the check but i thought it was two good to be true so i did the research firstt if these people still haventbeen caught they must bee smart and should tech me there waysss

Yes for sure this a scam! I just got a check in the mail to deposit in my checking account! And I refuse to get scammed! Thank God for thus website! Please don't trust these criminals;( they should get caught asap! So other honest people won't fall in thier traps! I hope they get caught! This is nonsense! Be careful with this big scam!J
