Not much or the thread will experience scope drift. The defendant was a domestic debt collector under Indian ownership. They run a call center in Mumbai, which I am reasonably sure generated most of their calls. My written orders regarding contact were ignored many times. Their Mumbai reps held awkward and misleading conversations with me.

Point being that law enforcement can reach across an ocean, even to telefrauds who work hard to remain hidden. Use of an Indian BPO does not whitewash sins or exempt illegal conduct. Sooner or later every investigation reveals that an ostensibly South Asian operation has the assistance of a person or entity in the States who reaps a benefit.

And your payback? Cash, or just satisfaction?

Some of both ... Defense counsel burned several months on increasingly desperate motions and responses, failing to scare me away. Their client sent me a check which covered my rent and groceries for a year.

When I do not answer the call, they repeatedly call back all day! I told them I have reported them and they will be fined and hang up... they still continue to call.. all because I put my resume online at a jobs site... never again!!

Do a search on call blocking devices and phones.

Got a text message at 2:30 am. from http//:xwaet.com/WGZsohQ.  Message says "Greetings we have now seen your Newly release Enquire Remember authenticate". And then the web address.  Don't know who they are and I have no subscriptions of magazines.

What does your post have to do with this topic? What was the phone number that sent the text?  if you had searched for that phone number, your post would have been of use to others, instead of languishing here.
