Beware of payday loan scam call calling from Asia, they will ask you to set up payment arrangements and ask for credit card info!!!

New number for them 937-709-8629. Left a recorded message by robo. Started in the middle of sentence. "...being tracked. It is vital you call me back at this number before we proceed with legal action". Got on line to check number out, and ended up here. No company with a valid complaint will contact you this way. Not sure how they got my number. On dnc list, and only given to one or reputable companies and my cable provider. I think the cell phone networks sell them. Also , cable company's service call center, which you have to call for repairs, etc., and to whom you give your call back number and address? Outsourced to where....India. Duh! Don't call them back, that only gives them ability to scare you, and confirms that the info they have for you is valid.
Too bad the person who posted in that number thread (the correct place to post) will never get to read your post, and thus not get any insight as to what the call was about.
Next time you need to post a number, please enter it in the box to the right called "Search" or the one at the top of the page. Your post will not get lost and there is more of a chance that people will see it and it will help them out. I have helped you out this time by posting it for you under your name. Received a call from a Tina Griffin regarding a pay day loan 515-212-2463. She has called me from other numbers regarding the same thing.

Well now their text messaging too and you cannot text back or call. I tried and wouldn't go through. The # they texted me from is 702-577-2243

Well they just called me saying that I owe money on a payday loan that I took back in 2013. The address they say I know longer live at. Started asking question and the girl got pissed at me. Told her that she needs to send everything by mail. She told me that we only have five days to take care of this and I told her that I am not going to do anything until I have the proof in my hands. She said I will email it to you and that you should receive it in the next five minutes, well it has been over an hour ++++, and still nothing. When asked for the banking information she said that there were numbers missing and that I need to go over it with her. Well I refuse to do so so she got mad again. They are trying any why that the can to get your money.
Email is not a legal method of debt validation. Nor are phone calls, texts, or faxes. If she refuses to mail you the debt validation, you know it's a scam.

Just got 3 calls in a row from a 562-552-4315. Man with a heavy Indian accent asking if I have an attorney, when I asked him why I would need an attorney he stated for all the correspondence his 'client' has sent to me. I told him I havent recieved anything and hung up. He called back and asked "do I sound like a scam/sales call to you" I said yes and he said "oh ok" and hung up. I got curious and called the # back and got the recording 'the person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time'! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

This company 509-740-0282 has been robot calling me saying that I have been trying to scam the Federal Government and have a court date. Scare tactics!!! says it's with the Federal Government.
As previously discussed this is a scam. A real server would show up without warning. They do not call ahead of time, ask for two firms of identification or notify your employer. They show up without giving you a timeframe. Please read the thread and you will find your answers there.
