Payday Loan Scam

To further the discussion, that voice mail came from a phone number.  Putting that phone number into the search box and posting in the correct thread often results in an answer to your question.  Or you can remain clueless.  Your choice.

Same thing here kept getting  calls, didn't know the number because it was a weird area code so I did a reverse phone number look up and found all bad stuff they called from Teleport Communications America, phone number 803 900 9650 (South Carolina) thanks for everyone who commented on here , probably saved me from being scammed

Why do you expect someone who posted over 3 years ago to return and see your taunt?

Yeah, I get these too. Not only have I never Had a payday loan, I wouldn't even know how to go about getting one.

Fall behind on a credit card bill, then you'll be inundated with ads for them.

I took out some short-term, low-interest loans one year, to shift income to the next year, rather than pulling from a 401k that year, for tax reasons. (It's all about cash flow, and 2% loans did the trick.)  Apparently, that caused flags to pop up on my credit files, that I might be in financial stress.  (I wasn't.)  I started to get dozens of ads for sub-prime credit cards, and high-interest regular and short-term loans.  Significantly more offers than I had received in the past, and quite different marketing. They used fear, as a tool.  It was obvious, what was going on.

These scum-bags are disgusting predators.
