Yet another feel good silly petition call. I'm sure the Prez will get right on this (sigh).

Why not actually work to develop practical solutions and then lobby for them with your Senators and Representatives? (Could it be because on-line petitions are easy and give you immediate (but empty) gratification, while actually accomplishing something takes persistence and work? Could it be that cynical professional WH politicos know this, and figure a petition site is a cheap way to get credit for "caring" without actually having to deliver?)

Doesn't anyone take classes in government anymore ? Executive, Legislative, Judicial. Legislators make laws, not the Executive. Legislators introduce bills, not the President. Get your legislators interested in the problem and they can introduce (and hopefully pass) effective laws to address the problem. Then, if the President balks you might need to bug him to sign it, but that isn't typically where you want to start.

If you think that an on-line petition will motivate the White House to expend political capital to push a new law through on something like this, you aren't paying close attention to the game of political football. You have a lot more influence by lobbying at your local level. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

Besides, the Executive branch already solved this problem - didn't you hear about the $50,000 contest for whoever will fix the problem for them?  Talk about outsourcing!

Of course, for those calls which come from overseas, outside our jurisdiction, the problem gets a lot harder.

The whole "petition" thing is nothing but a feel-good fraud ... like throwing a bucket of water against an impermeable wall (hey, at least the bucket is empty). Or offering $50,000 for an unnecessary new "solution" that will never be implemented.

And lobby your elected "representatives"??? Good luck with that. Unless you're prepared to outbid the telescamming industry's campaign contributions (hint: you can't afford it), that's as useless as signing the whitehouse "petition". if you think "lobbying" these crooks will motivate them to help you, you're not paying attention and missed that fact that they have been hired to run the government for corporations. The only long-term solution is to stop voting for democrats and republicans.

In so many ways, we are living in a lawless society now, all the way from world-wide state-sanctioned murder without trial, to lower-your-interest-rate identity theft; from government-inflicted cyber attacks on sovereign nations to DDoS attacks on crowd sourcing sites by common criminals. If you can't block the calls, at least get CID and don't answer unrecognized numbers. If they do manage to get through, I have no problem with blowing a whistle at them and trying to inflict all the damage you can, even though that is largely symbolic due to audio level limiting.

And it would be great if we could really educate the populace about scams, but judging from numerous incoherent, illiterate comments on this site alone, some more basic education would be in order first. Remember, though, that corrupt politicians benefit from an uneducated and illiterate electorate, as do other thieving scammers ... connect the dots.

Recently a petition to the White House gathered over 25,000 signatures asking the U.S. to build a Death Star.

I found this good phone number for the scum bags--- I called it and it is indeed a good number.  I have also filed a complaint with the FCC, of none success.  They just say, thank for the info. Ha Ha!

every time I get a call I make them offer of $10,000 if they offer up information about their company that leads to an arrest.

They do me the same way!!! They call my house phone all the time.  Makes me so mad!!!  What do I do ?  They hang up immediately.

“Mr. Castine has been versatile in finding and providing access to merchant
accounts. From approximately June 2011 through November 2011, under the names of
AFB and Concord, he ran charges through the AWD and CAM Services merchant
accounts arranged by Ambrosia. But, in November 2011, AWD’s merchant account was
shut down and shortly thereafter the CAM Services account was also closed. This left
Western GPS with no way to conduct business and it actually ceased operations for several weeks as it scrambled to find a vehicle to process consumer payments.
GPS found a temporary solution through Mr. Wayne Norris, owner of two Florida
entities involved in similar interest rate telemarketing ventures – W&M Enterprises (“W&M”) and WM&T Enterprises (“WM&T”). Both were formed in February, 2012 and promptly secured merchant accounts which Mr. Norris made available to Western GPS. From approximately February, 2012 through April, 2012, Western GPS ran their charges through these merchant accounts, paying a 37% fee for the privilege.”

They just phoned me they haven't asked for money but they were accessing my account. Should I call my credit card company?

Yes! Immediately.

I am an agent who works in this company... i have been working there for many months...we are the agents who are decieved by the upper management...all we do is to get the customer info and then pass it to the advisor who we dont know what he do next.... moreover we are complaing every day to them to stop calling the uninterested clients and to respect people....the manegement department tells us that we are really helping people and that we are not scammers..

to a certain point for me as an agent i really verify very normal info. that can't not scam the client and never ask for CVV or SSN..

WHAT SHOKCED ME REALLY when i noticed just right now that they charge the clients what a huge amount of money without doing anyhing in exchange,,,,

i TRIED TO DO MY BEST TO STOP THIS BUSINESS..but really i can't do nothing alone...PLEASE PEOPLE HELP ME and i will relase all the info. about us....

I will be following this post everyday and i hope we can get to the best results...

You 'tried to stop this business'...riiiiight. Why do I see your post more as a plea for sympathy and to make others feel bad for being mean to scammers than you actually being truly, genuinely sorry?

first of all, Again for the million times WE ARE NOT SCAMERS.  we just qualify and offer the service to people without knowing what is next, what i really hated in this business is that we call the clients many times. they always tell us it is a call list we are are calling again because not all the clients answer there phone.

and let me clarify something for you instead of having a wrong image or being offense to me personally,  i am not trying at all to defend myself because truly i didnt do that by myself , i was just doing my job. I didnt apply for a job as a "SCAMMER "..this is the job that i found as a good helpful and demanded service for every person. and yesterday when i wrote the post it was the first time to read all ur comments and to figure out the real problem..


we didnt know that u r charged for nothing, we didnt know that the advisor give u promises without getting it and by the way we are get paid a very little salary so i wasnt working for the salary , the reason for working is the task that i am doing,


i have spoke to the management a lot of times trying to eliminate this way of running the business,, last time he told me THIS IS THE CALL CENTER INDUSTRY !!!!!!!.. i believe the is no respect for humanity !..

Now I KNOW you're a scammer due to that little bit at the end. I have no sympathy for you as you are not only COLD-CALLING people which is AGAINST the law, but you are also violating the FTCPA and the Do Not Call list! I'm not buying your spiel, nor is anyone else going to!
