Has any one ever got a call from cmag saying they were going to serve you papers and wanted to know if you would be home from 9-4 to be served?

Why not review a thread for a CM Association Group number and see for yourself?

This of course is the kind of illegal crap pulled by collection agencies which lack proof of claim.

Got a call this afternoon from them for my ex-husband of 13 years.  I was not home and returned the call. His name was Michael Jones and he was extremely rude and used nothing be swear words.  I am going to call the Minnesota Attorney General tomorrow and file a complaint.  I have the phone number and a name so hopefully they can do something.

    .
Contact FTC.  They just sued a similar "debt collector" located in nearby Corona, allegedly doing running the same scam.

If you believe they are violating the Fair Debt Collection Act or they are calling you in error and won't stop calling, you should file a complaint with your state Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Consumer Protection.

don't speak to these people replies to david
They are CMAG or Capital Management or CM Association Group out of Coronoa, CA.  A phony debt collector.  They called from 888 356 8970.  Spoke with a Shayne Campbell.  A Brian Donovan left a voice message for me at work on a debt I do not owe.

    Very upset
Cmag called my son's father and told his girlfriend that she was a liar cuz shw was pretentding to not be me.  They used the f work when asking to speak to the man of the house.  When he got on the line they ask who he was and wanted his information but he refused to give it.  They callsed me so when I called them they were really rude to me.  The guy I spoke to was Mark Rodgrizuez and he was very rude and beligerent to me.  I got so mad I hung up.  I called back to speak to a supervisor or manager and spoke to a guy Larry who in the end got just as rude and ignorant.  I did get a partial address 750 S Lincoln there was some numbers and it is in Corona, California 92647.  The number they are calling me from is 855-518-4504.  The better business bureau is closed right now but I will be callin on Monday.  I don't know any company who would allow their associates to speak to clients using that kind of language and be ok with it.

ANOTHER COMPLAINT AGAINST CMAG CORONA CA.Please contact the FTC right now. They are aware of these illegal debt companies and are shutting them down. This company seems to be one of the worst. But, if we the public do not let the FTC know they can not do their job. Believe me they want to know what this company is doing. They need to be stopped.

FTC recently sued a large cluster of shady debt collectors located in the Corona area, alleging illegal abusive and deceptive collection, including fraudulent collection of unowed debts.

Many of the ex-employees have scattered, with some going to CMAG, also in the same area.

CMAG has been showing a similar pattern of consumer complaints, with reports of similar "process server" calls implying a "lawsuit".

    Contact FTC.

    complaint
I just got a phone call from these cmag people and they try to tell me that i am being sumons. Since aug 2011, for a payday loan supposibly. They have my social security number and my old address from 3 years ago. I told these people to give me information that they have and he talked fast and said I can make a payment instead of going to court. That makes no since. If anyone has been to court they should know that you have to sign and go. Scam. My mother told me to say cease and desit.
