People on this forum should investigate the validity of this information and, if found true, pay to have these people assassinated. India can't indict any of us, so this works both ways. Lets show these people what a real crime is. I can also think of more vicious and cruel things that could be done to these con artists and their families.
Whatever their ISP provider is, they have access to their real MAC addresses.

So if the scammers are in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad India or Islamabad, Lahore or the Afghan/ Pakistan border, they connect their computers to a regional ISP. Freaks think they can get away by threatening, abusing and ripping people here by hiding in a boiler room overseas but they are wrong.

A message to the Indian scammers who watch this forum. We are Anonymous and we are coming for you. We are in the process of putting together an operation to combat your scams and bring justice for the victims of your crimes. We are vigilantes and play by our own rules. Many of us are criminals, such as yourselves, who know how you think and how to being you down.
Here is one example of our operations against your crime infested nation. It seems you have a problem with gang rapes.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_01NqrO_wQE Operation India http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPRA_ukoKsI Anonymous pulls down Supreme Court of India, Congress websites (Maybe if we do this again, we will bring the attention of your authorities to your scam, since you like to do things in other people's identity or name. It would be a shame if we did this in your name.)
They mess with their own women and now they are trying to abuse women here. Sexual harassment and threats through the phone lines. They messed with the wrong country. They are reading our posts, and if found they should have their balls removed. Only cowards gang up on an innocent woman and rape her.
I'd love to see these creeps get what they deserve, but I know you're just a /b/tard .
You know it, I know it, and now everyone else knows it. Now go to 4chan and enjoy your B&.
p.s. lurk moar. it's never enough.

Come one guys, we are all Americans. The scammers want us to argue with each other. Their high comes from our frustration. If all the outsourced call centers were brought back, the corrupt in India will think why their jobs left. Thats when they'll pay attention to the scammers.

I am mad at these crooks but there are legit ways to deal with these crooks rather than jump the gun. There are times I felt like flying over there, finding their boiler rooms and breaking their hands.

It's ironic-the debt collectors that frequent this site are now on the side of the victims. Too funny - those yahoos have *given* (although, in my opinion, that moniker was always there) the foreigners the tag of 'sleeze.'
People, you don't have to answer the phone. You really don't. So, if there's something hinky about the caller's ID, ignore it.
Or block the numbers. Getting mad and frustrated at each and every call will help the scammers. Frustration clouds our judgement. On another thread I was talking about white listing numbers. Not everybody has an access to a blocker but I am hoping the phone companies or the phone manufacturers will add a white list section to the phones or the service through which victim of these scams can program only the numbers they want ringing their phones. Apart from that I wish ill on the scammers.
The irony is when someone is blind to the truth, and so petty, that they feel the need to try to destroy someone simply because they occasionally point out when the emperor is naked, or when someone (fake anon) is making empty threats in the name of a group with which he has no connection.
What substantive, pragmatic advice have you contributed to help people fight the telephonic onslaught? I realize you are kept busy trying to smear those who dare to disagree with you, but do you have any time to actually be helpful?
Oh wait, maybe you were trying to be helpful by telling people to simply endure the aggressive "ring till they scream" callers. I believe your sage advice was, "People, you don't have to answer the phone. You really don't."
Yes, that is both compassionate and technically astute of you. Imagine silly me thinking that people shouldn't have to sit through the assault clenching their teeth - that people should know how to use technology to fend off these calls, and the law to fight off the callers. You're right. Your way is *much* better. What was I thinking?
Okay everybody - forget the call blocking and SMS spam blocking tutorials I've written - Consumer says you should just put on your big boy panties and tough it out when the phone rings day and night. I guess I had it all wrong, because according to Consumer, I must secretly be a bad guy.
It may not be perfect, but it sure beats the other guy's suggestion that we should all spend our evenings staring at the caller ID while the phone keeps ringing and our heart keeps racing.
With a white list, we wouldn't have to waste even a calorie of our energy or attention on these scammers. Staring at the caller id is worthless. Only the numbers we allow will ring our phones. In my opinion this is the best way to block out scammers.

Same thing I've said in the past. A call blocking device can greatly reduce these kinds of calls. I've gotten the "prison" calls myself. They usually come from the same number or area code. By simply blocking those area codes or numbers, I've pretty much eliminated these calls.
