Well, I see our foaming at the mouth pro-telemarketer chimes in. Must be a riot over the phone talking like that erk.
Now it's a tirade on every aspect of life.

Yes, the poster slams those of us complaining about ILLEGAL calls as having "deep problems". Apparently, our "issues" are nothing compared to his/her's.

This will be my last time to comment on this....first of all I am NOT a telemarketer Deleted Media, if you would have read on page 5 I had already mentioned that....I had a friend that again is NOT a telemarketer and someone blew a HORN into the phone. She had to go to the Doctor and had to pay her $250.00 co-pay because some disgusting human decided that it would make them feel better to hurt someone else....not only is she a single mother of 3...her husband left her on Christmas eve...and now she is out of work for the next 7 days....without pay mind you....are you going to pay her bills? Just because some un-patient unkind person decided to blow this horn instead of hanging up like a normal person instead of cold nasty person that he was. I was looking up for her to see if there were any laws against this and I came upon this page and could not believe the hate that gets posted about others that are just trying to make a living...she was calling someone that had ordered a product...but apparently she was never given the chance to even state who she was....so all of you that just go on and on and continue to spew out mean words are why our United States of America has become the pits....to busy Bitching and complaining all the time...instead of thinking about doing the right thing....

I don't cook in your office.  I will not allow you to sell in my kitchen.  Even if its a survey or a charity, if you call me you get what you get.

That's rich - "instead of thinking and doing the right thing"?  The right thing would be for telemarketers to ABIDE by the DNC list, which most of us are on.  We also have not signed up for any apps, surveys etc which would allow these calls.  While it is sad and unfortunate that your friend is in this situation, that doesn't excuse ILLEGAL calls - in violation of federal law.  And isn't that the grand thing about America?  We all have relative freedom to make our choices - including whether or not to be tolerant of repeat, illegal calls made to our homes.

Oh boy more of the telemarketer drivel; "others that are just trying to make a living"  That sounds like something robo-Rachel the card service criminal said not long ago! I'm sure she always thinks she's doing the right thing. Maybe she'll find a real job after her ears stop ringing.

Obviously they are too good to wash dishes or wait tables for a living or pick in the fields or work in a cannery..  Something that doesn't involve scamming and bugging folks and blowing their phones up with useless cold calls..

I received a call back on December 17th for my work saying that there was a gentleman with a thick indian accent, call my place of employment repeatedly trying to contact me about a cash advance I supposedly owed. I called the gentleman at 3235543008, and he demanded I pay 800 dollars or he would continue to call my work, until I lost my job. He demanded that I money gram him 105 dollars right away and once I did, the calls would stop for two weeks. I did send him the money like a fool. First I was scared that I was going to lose my job, so I sent them money so that he'd stop calling. Then after two weeks he called back, but this time I was ready. I asked right away what his company's name was. He said that his company's name was cash advance, but he was not authorized to give me anymore details, not even any documentation that this was a legit debt. I refused to pay him anything more until my demands were met. Since then he has been spamming my work and congesting the phone system there. This is the newest return number they gave to me. Their contact number seems to continuously change after a few weeks. The two gentlemen that I interacted with in this time call themselves Adrian Walker and David Jones, though I have no doubt those are fictitious names. I have contacted my local police dept, the FBI, the ohio attorney general, and the FTC, yet after 3 days they are still spamming my work. These guys are using fear to get what they want, but I'll be damned if this American is gonna be bullied anymore. I spent three hours today continuously spamming them with calls, just like they are doing to me. I'm not sure what else to do here, I have to fight back somehow.

It is my phone, my house, my time and my privacy..and I want the privacy..I don't want to be harassed..call me and get either a whistle in the ear or my TV speaker on full force...deal with it

Agreed-if they are going to violate laws, they can't turn around and try to use laws against you-that makes no sense to me! (double-standard?)

Given that the national do not call registry doesn't seem to help at all I see no alternative to "whistle blowing" as an acceptable means of at least returning some of the grief that telemarketers cause me by calling every day, sometimes two or three times, to get me a lower credit card interest rate.  Tell me something that works and I'll try it.

The people who are calling you are CRIMINALS-they're NOT going to abide by the laws!
