"202" AREA CODE FRAUD AND SCAM CALLS

I got called from 202-506-9293 by a IRS Officer called David Wilson. He said, I owed 3800 and I had an hour to pay it otherwise I would be going to jail for defrauding the United States government. I called our IRS office a nd they said it was a fraud. Be Careful!!!!!!

they called me today saying i have a $7000.00 grant from the government and i'm to get a reloadable green dot prepaid card just put $280.00  on and call them back with my card information! they speak like they're from india so people beware!!!

same number yesterday answered after the second call to tell him i am calling the authorities to report.after i hang up he called at least 5or 6 more times from the same number 202 280 7675 i did not answer .very insisting scams!!

I have received several messages from 202-241-1465 and 202-864--1255 saying there is a tax evasion case against me.  The first two were from "Melvin" and the 3rd was from a woman.  Both spoke heavily accented English.

Another 202 scam # 202-239-0405

i got a call about i was selected to receive us government grant money of 9,000 dollars.but they want me to send them 250.00 dollars and the phone number is 202 657 4863 name is jim smith

Here's another one 202-239-0405....threatened me with prison and a $40 K fine...told him he was a liar and a scammer then he hung up on me.  Good riddance [***]!

My mom got someone call here (phone number 202-000-1111) and so my mom asked to verify info
About him and he said no. But I told here it was a scam and so I knew it was cause his website did not exist and it had .com instead of .gov and plus he said he was from the government
And so yeah

I also got a call from 202-000-1111! He said I was selected by the taliban. What the....

These numbers called me 202-253-6008 and 202-6847172 and they even went as far as having the court clerk call me and say they will be serving me with papers on monday. They had all my info and it was seemingly real so I paid the 256.00 but after reading the information. I might have been scammed so I have had all my accounts locked and my cards replaced. I did owe some money on a bad check but it was 4 years ago and how these people got that information and used it for wrong doing is unbelievable. Im so disappointed that I didn't find this sooner and his name was RON Pierce.. The caller id showed ICS Investigations.
