" 909" area code fraud scams / fake calls and texts

Just got one (909) 259-9338. Promotion for a vacation trip anytime in the next two years...Caller said they were in Kissimee, FL but this is California #. When I said I needed to ask my husband about spending that money, they hung up. Told me it was a "live promotion." Knew I had traveled with Hilton and had a website to refer me to. Not sure if they are using some other business as a cover

909-255-9663.... I just wanted to add this number as a new number that called me in regards to a posting that I posted to Craigslist in reference to an amplifier I was selling for car audio watch out they're everywhere!!!!!

909 number came thru. I didn't recognize it just deleted it.  It said miss you can't wait to hold you blah blah blah....

I received the same text. Deleted it.

What it the text about? There does not appear to be anything under this number as yet. But I couldn't say unless I know what the text is about..

Yea Ricky you may need to do searches like "909951" placed in the phone number search box trying to find a similar number and tactics used. Plus there's 400 posts within the 27 pages under the 909 area code and this thread.
