she called saying she was calling from the IRS and I had better call back or I will be arrested.I called and she asked if I had a criminal defense attorney and could meet her at court so she can serve a tax fraud affidavit to me.I asked what is this about? What court do you want to meet? the phone went dead. Then they kept calling different people 3 times saying the same thing.I googled it and found it was a scam.its just annoying.I am on the Federal Do Not Call list and I have a blocked phone number. This is the # 844 858 6960 of the scammers.Yes they sound like there from India with heavy accents, some I could not understand.
All you have to do is use the search bar to the right → or at the bottom of the page ↓ depending on the browser/device used and put the number in it that called you! :)

The guys name was Jordan he wanted to talk to my daughter. Wouldn't tell me why when I asked. Wanted to know when she would be home. Asked if I would give her the message and his number and I said no unless I knew what it was for. He asked why I didn't want to help my daughter I then thanked him for his time and hung up.

I got a phone call from 202-241-5251 and the man with heavy accent said I owed IRS Taxes, I told him I didn't received any notification by mail, and asked if he would send me documents by certified mail, he said they don't send any more mail as they already did sent several before, and this time is a final courtesy call from IRS. I refused to discuss about it until I received the mail, he then transferred me to someone else who called himself Mike Davis as senior attorney for IRS. He told me if I don't take care of this matter right now, he'll then press charge me to court the next day, I told him I'll call IRS office myself to find out about it, he then told me ok thank you for wasting my time and then hung up. Scammers!

Just had a message left on my answering machine from "Sebastian", who spoke with a veddy veddy dick Indian accent to inform me that he was from the "auditing committee department" of the IRS and letting me know that "there was a miscalculation in our tax returns". I should contact him at the above number to "resolve it before it goes to the courthouse" since "a lawsuit can be filed". What was even more hilarious was that he stumbled over the above call back number.
Message to Sebastian: take yout audit and shove it where the sun doesn't shine!
Forgot to add that the call back number "Sebastian" gave was 209-207-3495

A follow-up to my earlier message of today. Lucky me got another call from "Sebastian" about two hours after the first one. I strung him along for 10 minutes and got him confused enough that he had to 'put me through to the supervisor'-- "Mr. Parker", another person with a veddy veddy dick Indian accent. So, I strung him along to waste another 15 minutes of his time, throwing out a lot of totally bogus tax mumbo jumbo about the depreciation on the oil and mineral rights of our seven imaginary oil wells in Texas, my earned income credit, IRS forms 6671 and 2584, my previous IRS audit, etc. When he told me I could pay my tax shortfall, variously put at $1,800, $2,963, or $3,400 (geez, guys, can't you even get your scam act together?) at the IRS office in West Virginia -- in Parkersburg, of all places! -- and asked me what I'd like to do, I told him I'd like him to stop trying to scam people and that I had already reported them to the Federal Trade Commission (for all the good that will probably do).
IRS scammers have gotten $5 million so far and even real IRS agents have been targeted. usatoday.com

Man with heavy Indian accent called me from 206-204-5252 and said he was from the IRS. I hung up without giving him any info. Beware, lots of others got calls from this number also.

When you get an obvious scam call tell them it sounds interesting and to please hold the line. Then put the phone down while you continue doing whatever you were doing. After five or ten minutes just hang up the phone. If they are going to waste your time then you should also be wasting their time.

I got a call from Kevin Jones and flipped out! The number that called me was 425-304-1656. After about 45 minutes & with guidance from my exhusband, I was in the frame of mind to challenge them to confirm the last 4 of my social and the address where I lived during the years of which I filed fraudulent taxes. Eventually they hung up on me.
I received a call from Brian Smith at 202.580.8099 stating he was with the Internal Revenue Tax Audit Dept. and that a legal petition has been filed against me for tax fraud. Something did not seem right about the call and almost seemed rehersed so I decided to google it and came across numerous complaints about this SCAM!
