Nimrod replies to End the calls
Funny, but when I Google that number, all I get is links to sites reporting it as part of the scam.
Googling "National Renewable Energy Resource” does not turn up any organization by that name.

Post the actual URL and address for the "National Renewable Energy Resource", otherwise we will know you are just another shill for this scam.

I have been relentlessly telemarketed by these poorly trained idiots. They attempt to harass me, and have tried to coerce the contact information of my family members to harass them instead.

Do a general google search for "California Green Energy Center" and you will find hundreds of others being harassed like this. Several people have been called "stupid", "idiot", employees have gloated about their fat paychecks, and there was even one reported call where an employee threatened to f**k the customer's wife.

Every time I received a call, I'd ask to be removed from their call list and that has clearly not been acknowledged. Constant hangups, the calls are not returnable, and despite their best efforts to hide behind really bad websites, I've found all this information about them.

ASKING THE TELEMARKETERS TO TAKE YOU OFF THE LIST WILL NOT HELP, but you can complain to "California Green Energy Center" directly and they will do so from the management level.

These people are knowingly telemarketing and caller ID spoofing. They are aware that their profits from doing so outweigh the fines they can expect from anyone that goes through the trouble of suing them and reporting them. There are many reviews and complaints out there from people whose elderly inlaws have been scammed into buying thousands of dollars of malfunctioning solar equipment. F*** these people. If you have the resources to, then take them to court. You will win. Give them hell!

Green Energy Center manager direct line: 818-666-3522 - her name is Karen
    Telemarketer Kristopher Cherry - 818-574-7332 or 818-985-1132
Call center seems to be 15025 Oxnard St, Suite 200, Van Nuys CA 91411

Their parent company is Top Design Inc.

Top Design Inc Phone: 818-497-2919 or 818-514-6243

When I called Top Design, they denied any connection to Solar Power until I claimed that I was already working with someone from the Green Energy Center. There's also a youtube video out there called "At work California green energy center 2014" and its description says "Top design, California green energy center".

Others have claimed the party responsible is Go Green Energy Center in North Hollywood. I doubt this, but their numbers are 818-358-2851 or 877-593-2995.

There are confirmed connections to A1 Solar Power Inc, Go Green Education, National Renewable Energy Center, California Energy Initiative, and California Solar Initiative.

According to the Contractor's State Licensing Board, Patrick Fred Detchman Sr. is the RMO.  The company has its headquarters in Van Nuys, CA.  I therefore presume that Detchman lives in this town or nearby.  I wonder how he would like receiving phone call after unsolicited phone call.

David Malka is listed by the CSLB as the CEO/President of AI Solar.  I also wonder how he would like receiving call after call.

I have been interested in A1 Solar TCPA court case below.  Does any one here have the ability to view the status of current lawsuits?   I would love to get an update.    Thanks!

Maybe you can DIY by a couple of methods. Contact the USDC clerks yourself and see how they handle and charge for document copies if you can't visit the courthouse yourself, assuming they would process the request at all. Some California courts have been under fire for making filing access needlessly difficult and costly for journalists and the public.

Else, open a PACER account and download case documents yourself. The meter is running every time you seek and fetch, but you can eat for free if your total usage is below $15 worth per quarter.

For future reference, try the RECAP archive directly or through the Internet Archive. Thoughtful persons copy court filings there as they are downloaded from PACER, freeing them from the paywall and the clumsiness the Judicial Conference considers "access". Presently the Loveless case like most others is not found, but it's worth trying.

Resident47,  I would like to thank you for the DIY hints.

I have been following the cases. These two class action cases are sure moving slowly, maybe that's typical.  I was thinking that as soon as a lawsuit was filled against this frequent solar telemarketer that we could all get a break from the calls from A1 Solar.  I am still getting calls. I hope the named plaintiffs are too, in hopes it strengthens  their position.

Amazingly, after a few question, the caller will still identify the company they represent.   They then have the nerve to become rude after asking them to stop calling.  This company may need to get hit with a bigger hammer.

If they receive too many lawsuits, maybe become unprofitable to pay the lawyers.
Wonder what their exit plan is when they do lose the case. Given their ethics, they would suck any value out of the current company and go bankrupt. At the same time open a sister boiler room down the street to continue their illegal activities.

The solvency of the defendant at time of adjudication is a valid concern. Including the affiliated companies and the Does 10 in the litigation may be of benefit. Additionally, if the defendant(s) has appropriate insurance in place that may satisfy the judgement. Recently, we have seen several insurance policy covered judgements in TCPA litigated cases, some very notable ones recently.

ADT Home Security got hit for that same thing (sales call masquerading as a Home Security Survery), but it went nowhere as no one had gathered evidence like Mary is doing.
