Limited Liability Company - Pudge| 2 repliesAlissa, dear perhaps you need to follow one of the primary business tenets regarding negative reviews...DON'T DRAW ATTENTION TO THEM! You said it yourself, "...anyone to write any comments they want..." That's true, withing the limits of law. No one can say that you engaged in some illegal activity, or committed a crime, etc. unless it is true and public knowledge. But they can certainly post their opinion of your business and their experience with it. They don't have to provide "evidence." This is not a court and they are not accusing you of anything. They are just saying they DON'T LIKE YOU. Now, as to calling attention to problems. By shilling on this or any other site, you force us to call attention to all your negative reviews. So here are a few:

Oh...did I say a few? Actually there are hundreds but I'm getting tired of putting them all up here. - Nimrod replies to Alissa Duff| 1 replyI took a look at the BBB listing you pointed to. Funny, there is no business at the address they list for you (6530 Annie Oakley Dr # 1712, Henderson, NV 89014), only an apartment complex. So, I take it you are running your operation from your kitchen table. This is not surprising, since the address (2764 N. Green Valley Pkwy #132, Henderson, NV 89014) your website (http://www.nationaltravelassociates.com) lists for contact is, in fact, a UPS Store. UPS Stores are well known for providing mail drops to small budget companies as well as scam operations. It is also just a couple blocks away from the address (2920 Green Valley Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89014) listed in the Yelp page you directed us to. There does not seem to be any travel related company there now, but maybe two years ago there was a different version of your company there that has since been shuttered due to bad customer reaction. You did admit that “yes we have many marketing names for many different products”, perhaps that was just a different "marketing name" for one of your earlier "products".
I am somewhat puzzled by your statement of “For one thing our companies and staff have never been located in Ontario”. The OP never mentions Ontario; neither here nor in the Yelp post from two years ago. Could it be that you are trying to do too much “damage control” on too many websites that you are not properly reviewing your text before you do a C&P? - Pudge replies to NimrodGood pick-up. Well done, Nim.
- MzFishGood retort Nimrod and Pudge🍻
- yef replies to Alissa DuffI have three, three word phrases for you:
Terms of Service
Freedom of Speech
Slander versus Libel
oh, and p.s. ... What does Ontario have to do with anything? As Nimrod said, clearly you are getting your shilly comment replies mixed up between here and wherever else you post your nonsense. - JoeMama replies to Pudge| 1 reply"Alissa, dear perhaps you need to follow one of the primary business tenets regarding negative reviews...DON'T DRAW ATTENTION TO THEM!"
Exactly. She needs to look up "Streisand effect." - Pudge replies to JoeMamaYes! I'd forgotten the term. Thanks, JoeMama!!
- MP| 1 replyI would simply like to know how they got my name and number as I certainly did not give it to them. They called me I did not call them nor did I contact the hotel as that would be my admin's job which she has not done yet so it seems very curious to me from the start.
- CelticDragon replies to MPWhat do you think we can do about that?
- Me| 2 repliesNational Travel Associates is a fraudulent organization and is very well known throughout the Expo industry. They pull attendee and exhibitor lists from conference sites, then call those people on the list acting as an authorized agent of the conference. The problem has gotten so bad that many conferences have to send warnings out to their attendees and exhibitors warning about these guys. When NTA does call you, they are very strong-armed, argumentative and try to bully you if you request to be removed from their call list.
- Conference problemsThis company does fraudulent transactions and attempts to get vendors and exhibitors to register through them instead of the company that is offering the conference/show. They are calling our vendors and telling them that we hired them to contact our vendors to book their rooms through them!!!! We NEVER would hire a company to book our rooms, yet, they are lying to our vendors and trying to get them to book through their block instead of ours. We have sent warnings to our attendees and exhibitors warning these guys, plus, have sent a cease and desist letter from an attorney and they still do it. They strong-arm our vendors and get very argumentative and try to bully them to doing this. One of my vendors just received 3 calls in a row telling them that they had better book through them or they will not get a room. This should be so illegal as we have a minimum number of rooms that we are responsible for and if we do not meet that minimum we have a hefty fine to pay to the hotel.
They get names of companies off of lists of vendors listing on websites (we used to list who had what booths) and they contact the company that way. - JR replies to MeI just had one yell at me about "is this how you talk to your customers?". Huh? YOU called ME. I started off the conversation with "if you are calling about booking housing outside of a block I cannot do that" and she got all pissy. Finally hung up on the crackpot after the third time I asked "well, why are you calling then?". Exasperating.
- Me replies to MeThank God for the warnings that got sent out. Almost fell for their scam.
- Kittykittykitten replies to Tamianth| 1 replyAre you the one that's complaining about the company? Are you Yves Coker's Lawyer? Do you represent the blog that their complaint is written on?
no, I thought so....
Then why are you defending the complaining party?
