You have to understand how the BBB operates. First it operates on money, of course. Pay enough and get an accreditation and they give you an A+ regardless of what you started out with. Then it goes by responses. All a business needs to get a good rating is to simply reply to every complaint. Doesn't matter if it is resolved in the complainant's favor or if they are happy with the response. All that matters is that the business made a "good faith effort". The BBB is good for information such as business addresses, etc. They never bother to see if there is another company tied in that is scamming people even worse. They never bother to see if the company is registered in any state unless the company volunteers that information. The only BBB ratings that should be taken into consideration are a C or less.
