getting calls too replies to Farfalla1973
This indian guy said he was an attorney named Jennifer Gill called my cell phone today, they called 10 times back to back from the same number 209-780-5213.  When I answered they confirmed my name and social, they said I would be served by Virginia State Police at my job in 48 hours for a pay day loan from USA Cash Loans from 2005.  He claimed I owed $8000.00.  Said he was from the Law firm of Federal Legislation Customer Affair and Business Regulation gave main # 866-256-9619.  When I asked him why I was not notified before he just kept saying that he just received it and filed with the State of California.  I asked for supporting documents and he said we will provide that in court.  I said this is not in compliance with the Fair Debt collections act. He got loud and defensive and said he never asked me to pay and they will see me in court and hung up.  I called my attorney and he said this is a scam and they wont send anything.

7072784092 - Someone called from this number yesterday and left messages on both my home and work.  Some guy named Victor Greene with a middle Eastern accent (one of many).  Basically it's a scam about representing some fictitous pay day loan client whom you never paid back.  They come up with these dumb names for the company they supposedly work for.  For instance, the investigation department. They have personal information about you, which I assume they've somehow gotten through the Internet.  Never acknowledge any of the information, SS#, Address nothing.  They say sh## like, you're being sued or arrested for not paying back a loan, (whether you do or not). When you laugh at them or tell them you know it's a scam and to go ahead and file whatever papers they need to file to sue you, they get mad.  I felt like having some fun yesterday, so I called them back repeatedly.  Finally, they stopped answering my calls.  Today though, I guess they're returning the favor (I'm smiling).  They called back and when I answered the phone, I was called an a** hole.  I say, Mission Accomplished.

    Debra S.
A Indian female called Rachelle, stated I was being sued because of a online payday loan. I stated i already made payment arrangements with my loan & They must be mistaken. She said if i didnt send the money thru a debit, credit card or prepaid debit card from Walmart, She would have police @ my door to arrest me & I would be in jail untill it gets paid. I called my payday loan co. on another phone while still on the phone with these Indian people to ask if this was true & Mellisa said OH! NO! thats a SCAM. Mellisa told me to get as much information as i can so i can report them to the Federal Trade Commision @ 877-382-4357. I also asked for the address & I was transfered to their so called Attorney Jack Williams. When I asked him for the address he hung up on me!!!! LOL

Victimless crime victim replies to Becky
My experience has been told back to me by the people from most of the post's I have read. Calls with claims to unpaid loans, "full force of law to be applied", "situation will unfold", so I'm here to add to the list.
Those, as my mother-in-law would say, TARDS!

Here is a new number for these idiots. I just got 5 calls from these fools in 3 minutes. They left numerous messages with false call back numbers and when you finally get a hold of one of these foolish fools, they can barely speak english! Told them to go ahead and sue me, come to my home to arrest me and my job, bomb my home, what ever they had to do, to collect some money that I do not owe! They are really sick. I have contacted the FBI and told them so. They quickly hung up then. The number they are using; 209-396-6903.

    Fools
Someone told them we are well to do and gullible. What a bunch of idiots! Let them babble and burn up their minutes. Put it back on them, when they can no longer afford to pay for the calls (If and when people quit sending money) then and only then will they stop. Lets face it, the authorities cant do anything unless they are in the States. With all the turmoil in the world now, harrassing phone calls wouldn't be a priority,I wouldn't think. Altho ,blowing their phone lines  would be poetic justice!!

I received a call from this number at work, he said he was an "Officer in the Law Department" and there have been serious allegations logged against me. I think he's trying to using a play on words to give the impression he's an "Officer of the Law". I've never been in trouble with the Law, but I would assume they would come to my house if they wanted me for something or at the very least call me from a local number.

That damned 818-659-5796 number has been calling me nonstop for DAYS now. I don't answer because I don't know the number and everyone I know in CA doesn't have an 818 area code. So, I answer it. They guy, with a very heavy middle eastern accent, tells me that he's an officer of "County state code" and I received a payday loan and never paid it back. I was being brought up on charges for internet fraud or some nonsense. But if I pay $180 now I'll have all the charges dropped and if I don't they will proceed with taking me to court on Friday. First of all, I've never received any funds from anyone. And, when I asked him for the date that I supposedly received said funds, his response was "Uh....Uh... Wait a minute... Uh..". Yeah. Ok. I'm so scared. What can be done about these clowns?!

Just a thought- Anyone think these calls have been increasing since Bin Laden's death?   I have often wondered if these calls are terror related.

My girlfriend got a call this past nov from a Mr. Lomax saying he was from chexsystems and that she owed $500 on a payday loan and that she needed to pay or be subject to court & jail...she stated that lomax sounded legit with his words like affadivid, the courthouse of the county she lives in & county attourneys office. She told me she paid that loan off 2yrs ago but she got suckered in with his scare tactics so she setup a payment plan.

I told her this sounded like a scam as the county he mentioned is not the county she lives in...nothing in the mail about the loan or any proof just a phone call asking for her debit card # and a bogus email stating terms of the so called agreement.

So anyway, i told her to skip last months payment and she did, she got another phone call from a Mr. Nichols saying he was from InterChex Systems reguarding the same matter...she asked to talk to Mr. Lomax but nichols said he didn't know who he was and that she needed to pay the remaining balance or be charged a fee of $2500 for being late...she lied and said, i closed my bank account but nichols told her to go get a pre paid card... she refused and he said, "i can't deal with this" and hung up on her.

I call the assho!e up saying, send some proof by mail...he said we can't do that and it would be a hassle messing with postage stamps...i said F U but you can call long distance and your worried about the cost of a postage stamp...THIS IS A SCAM and unfortunately my girlfriend is a victim from this.

Here's some numbers, email & names to be aware of

    Mr. Lomax   Chexsystems
    Mr. Nichols  InterChex Systems

Funny...so funny! I'm going through the same thing as well. I'm a paralegal and have already (as you all can too) asked these people to "cease and dismiss" from calling my employment place with there harassments. Once you have asked them to do that, they must stop calling.
