- debbeeHave gotten several calls on my cell and the caller ID shows up as 23*. Today some lady with a thick Indian accent speaking very poor English that you could hardly understand left a message something about a judgement against me and that I would have to go to court and all she could do was wish me luck. She left a call back number of 646-580-9483 so I called it back but of course no one answered and it went to voicemail which of course was full.
- joann replies to RAYLAI got the same message from the same number on my job 5 times. Sooo embarrissing. They will not tell me about my case and that it is sealed up. We got in an arguing match over a scam. I am soo done by putting my names in search engines.

- KDI received this phone call today from 415-852-9546 and they just answerd "States Attorney's Office." When we answered which one they said California. When we called back again it said it was a magic jack number. They threatened a bench warrant for my arrest, my mother's arrest, and called me a [***]. My mother also called them and told them nice try. I will be reporting them to the authorities.

- Paul replies to bankruptor| 2 repliesI can help you, but only to some extent I suppose cause even I have little knowledge of who these freaking people are and where they're exactly at. First off, I run a contact center in the Philippines. The way we look for clients who would use our services is through posting ads on a website. This guy named SOURABH GOUD got my contact details through that website and he contacted me offering a project to run. This happens to be PAYDAY Collections. I honestly have no idea about this project aside from my knowledge of what payday is, which is a short term loan. Make story short, I accepted his offer and had an agreement to pay me 40% of whatever we collected. First day of the training, I already noticed that something was off because he said that we have to make the customers think that were calling form the New York Civil Court House. I asked him why not announce ourselves as working for the Payday Company itself, because anyway, we are working for that payday company as collections agent right? He said collecting will be easier that way cause we have to scare them about an impending case. Although I was a bit uncomfortable with it, I just brushed it off. But a week after taking calls, that's when I concluded that its indeed a scam and I cant take it thats why I gave it up. My apologies if I have been a part of this. Now lets make things right this time. Several companies who operate this FAKE PAYDAY COLLECTIONS are in INDIA. The company who gave me the project is VIRTUOSO GLOBAL SOLUTIONS. SOURABH GOUD (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001004364687 follow the link to his facebook account) works there. Its owned and operated by MIHIR SHRIVASTAVA (http://www.facebook.com/mihir.shrivastava1). I believe they are in Maharastra, India. Mr. MIHIR SHRIVASTAVA's email is mihir.virtuoso@gmail.com. Mr. SOURABH GOUD's email is sourabh.virtuosollp@gmail.com. This is the FAX No. they use: 914-462-3343. This is Mr. Mihir Shrivastava Contact Details: Cell:-5856381755 Mobile:-+919993124142 Fax:-9144623343. This is Mr. Sourabh Goud's Contact Details: skype - sourabhsharma87@yahoo.com mobile: 91-975-572-1119. I have their recorded calls if you need them. Thats the only info I can share cause thats the only thing I have. And by the way, they use VOIP with a NY area code to call US. Not Google Chat. And please tell me your seeking the help of FBI in India, cause there is an offshore office there. That will at least put a stop to their operation.
- Janise Johnson replies to jp1863Well today my aunt calls me up and says that a person left her a message saying i commited some type of fraud, So she tells me the number was 762-675-0989 which was the same number that started calling me after I submitted an online application for a payday loan. They stated that I had to pay them 250$ as security and then they would put 1500$ in my bank account! Which didnt make any since to me, I believe this is sad what these people do because some of us actually have been vitims to this what if i had gave them my last 250$ to feed my kids really thinking that i would have 1500$ in my bank account. Then when i said no thank you he then had his "manager" call and say that we could do 130 for 1000, these people call my phone so much that i have consider changing my number! at first it was the over seas emails now this, and i dont even wanna know what they have next!
Reply ! - fedup replies to bankruptorHere's a new number..........909-565-4282 been dealing with these guys 3 months now. new name, get this Prince Charles........what a hoot. I wish to God there was a way they could stop people from spoofing numbers. The implied threat of bodily harm was special. Now they call my place of employement playing a recording that they are collecting a debt and give my name... special I tell ya.....
- AS477I got all these harrassing, threatening calls to stop weeks ago, I thought maybe the FBI actually did something because i made a report to IC3 with this site listed so they can see all the stories and phone numbers related to these India scams. But by the looks of all your posts, it is still happening. Here is what I did, I went to the bank, sat down with a banker, changed my checking account number and my debit card number and ordered a new card, put a "hold" on all debits on old account, so it only recieved credits but no one could take money, which sucked at first because I have bill pay from my checking. but it was well worth it to stop this, I could not take it anymore!! I locked my computer with a difficult password, I changed my e-mail password and added extra protection to prevent hacking. I never use my credit cards or debit cards online! not even to order from a store( call cusomer service directly for the store and give items numbers instead, then you know you are actually talking to the store from which you want to order), if you want to pay a bill, call the company directly and do nothing over the internet. this is a dead end for these scammers, a closed bank account!..lol.. they quit calling me and my friends and family. it is a long process to change all your information but if you are just so sick of it, it is WELL WORTH IT!! I would suggest everyone do the same. it helped me and now i can finally have peace and quiet. never give out your new information unless you CALL a company like your phone bill, electric, car payments and credit card bills. I also told the bank to put extra security on my account so if anyone calls, even myself, they or I have to go thru a long series of questions that no one knows the answers to: city where I was born, father's middle name, mother's maiden name, high school I went to, year i graduated, which college i went to, street address of my first apartment 15 years ago, ect. credit card companies will add these features too if you ask. also call experian or one of the credit bureaus and put a fraud alert on your social security number. hope this helps all of you!!
