- Loony ToonsAll those ones and zeroes are binary code for "512." Since all computers speak binary but very fewl humans do, this should be obvious to all those conspiracy theorist out there; these darn computers are plotting to take over the world. Well, considering the state of things, they can have the world. But dang it, They're not getting my meds !!! (lol).

- ...If you have an IP phone (iTalkBB, Skype, etc.) people who call from overseas show up as the number 000-000-0000 on my phone's Caller ID. Usually, when I get this number, it's one of my relatives in Korea. :P

- annoyed123Kept getting missed calls on my caller ID from 1-000-000-0000, finally answered today and this lady was asking for Edward something. I told her she had the wrong number, she then said am I misses Edward, I said no. She confirmed my phone number but I said I am not that person. She then told me that my computer infected with a worm that needed to be removed otherwise I would lose all the data on my computer. I then asked who she was and why she was calling. Then I informed her that it was now 9pm at night and that this was inappropriate. She wanted me to go to my computer. She kept telling me that if I didn't do it that I would have to buy a new computer...I told her that was fine with me because I didn't trust her. She kept going on and on and on...finally I asked her, well if you know so much about my computer since it's sending you information and that's why you are authorized to call me, tell me what operating system am I using...she replies Windows 7. I told her that she was wrong, she insisted she wasn't...I told her that I only have one computer and it's a Mac. She said oh I need to confirm this with my service department and hung up. What a bunch of bull!!!

maybe that's what everyone needs to do...don't give them a chance to "sell" you anything...just claim it's a chat number and ask for cc and expire date...insist it costs and they have to give it before you connect them...they'll hang up quickly and won't call again! :)

- DonnaAfter 2 weeks of 5 or more calls per day, I finally got a live person this morning. They wanted to speak to my mom and I told them she wasn't here. (she was sitting beside me). I asked if I could help tham and I was tired of their phone calls all day long with an automated "good bye" with no other words. I asked again if I could help him and him hung up. I have spoken with my telephone service and I cannot block 000-000-0000 numbers. This might be a reason for me to disconnect my phone service and use my cell phone for all business.

- JimmyI got a series of calls from this all zeroes number, and they would never leave a voicemail. One night, I DID answer - the person told me hello using my name. (very southeast asian voice) I told them that no - this was NOT who they were calling, and the person argued that yes it was - and then asked for my name. I told him it was none of his damn business, but they would need to not call my number anymore. The guy got argumentative - told me he could 'find' me at anytime, and that indeed he would keep calling. Said his name was 'Shane' - and when I asked about the company he was representing, he mumbled something about 'Business...' could not understand. I told him he sounded as if he was threatening me, and I asked for his supervisor - he told me that HE WAS the supervisor? I then advised that I was going to call the police regarding the threat of 'find you at anytime' stuff and to NOT call back. He said he would do so - and at the same time the next night. Good news? No calls since. I have NO idea of WHO these [***] are - but sounds like they are very busy - but then again, it may be many people using spoofing to bother people. It DOES suck!
