I've gotten numerous calls from this number. Usually it is a prerecording of some sort, often silence. Today I got a male that asked for a specific person in the office. Since the caller ID said the 000-000-0000, I vetted the call and asked who he was. I believe he said his name was John, and that he'd call back later. Well, I knew (due to the caller ID) that he was bogus, so I told him to take our number off of his internal marketing list. He then called me a nasty name that begins with "wh..." I was amused and told him I hoped his day got better.

I received a call from this number just after someone referred a client to me. I have some clients who prefer to keep their numbers unknown and thought this might be one of my newer clients trying to reach me. I contacted those I thought it might be - better safe then sorry. However all these calls should be blocked by the phone companies. They are scaring,annoying and or embarrassing all of us who pay for the service and have requested not to be bothered by unsolicited calls.

Got a call from the all zeroes today and a few times this week...  Today I told them I was very interested in their loan, but I need them to hold the line.  I placed my phone in front of the grill of a patrol car and had my partner turn on the siren.  They called back half an hour later and were very rude, saying that I should go fornicate with myself.  So I picked up my radio, called dispatch, waited for them to answer me back then have them the code to ignore my call an pretended to ask them to run a tracer on my phone.  I told the "John" that I hoped he enjoyed the view in Guantanemo and he hung up right quick.  They called back just now, so I played along, said I needed $50000 to pay my bail and DUIs.  "John" was very concerned and willing to help with my plight...  Then I tuned on the siren again and went, "Oh god, it's the cops again!  Hold on, I'm getting pulled over."  Then I started screaming "I ain't goin' back to jail!" at my partner and hung up.  Well, John was so concernered and diligent about gettin his $50000 loan commission that he called right back.  I then answered in my 'cop voice', identified myself as a law enforcement officer and he hung up.

Long story short, seriously, the cops really can't do anything about these yahoos anyway - hell, I'm a victim of them myself...  Either ignore them or mess with them.  My partner and I are trying to figure out what to do with the next 'John' that calls.

I keep getting a call from a number that I have no Idea who it is. it has 7 zero's in it. I am not going to answer the phone, but how do I block the number.

That's correct! They called me saying the government randomly selected me for a $5000 grant. Then he asked for my bank info. I asked him, "What is my name?" He would not answer it then finally he gave me a wrong name. I gave him a bank # and then he asked for the code. I said u don't need the code for deposits, only for spending then I hung up. Its a scam.

Called me on my cell.  Wanted to know if I was suffering from back pain or other chronic pain.  I said I was.  They thought they had a live one.  I told them that they "caught me on my cell phone" and asked if they would call me on a land line.  I gave them the fraud line number at the State Attorney General's office.  (Yup, I keep the number on a card in my pocket all the time.)

calls are almost daily...... never leave a message, and once when I answered, I  told them I wasn't
interested  in responding to a survey, take me off your list.  That hasn't happened.

Called today. Didn't answer and they did not leave a message.

My number is on there and I am getting about 8 spam calls a day still.

I was on a site looking for a signiture loan prior to a vacation. Of course I got one whom turned out to be some type of payday loan site which once I put my info in it sent it to "all our direct lenders".. I should have read it closer. Totally pissed . Within 2 mins I began gettin phone calls back to back from random numbers from all over. I in turn did not pick up. A few days later, they are calling all day everyday. Once I got the road for vacation I got that same 000-000-0000, so I picked up. So this guy " George" (who sounds like Apu) says that I went into their store and purchased some bras and pantiez and they wanted to verify where to send my stuff. Scary part was that he knew my address, so of course I told him nope that's not where I live I was like why the hell would I buy something from a store and not walk out with the product, especially intimates and second if I bought it, then send it. He just kept reapeting himself, so finally I told him I was recording the call and turning it over to the FBI and unless he wanted to go to jail, he better hang up now.. He starts asking me what kind of bra and panties did i like, I told hI'm I didn't, so he starts asking me if I was wearing any and what color they were. I was like WTH!! So I went off on his [***] and hung up. So this fool calls back 6 times back to back and leaves me a voice mail cussing me out, n another one saying he loved me.. ughhhh.... I was so pissed off... it was so creapy!! These people should not be able to do this crazy crap.Im more mad at myself cause I wasn't paying attention to what i was filling out. So from now on I will stick to getting loans from my bank and using my credit card. In the meantime I started putting all the numbers I dnt recognize on a reject call list for my cell. Once the day is over and I look on the call logs, they have called over 40 times. Some leave a message where it imediatlly begins to ring somewhere, or saying I bought something or I filled out something for help, or my faviret, the US Goverment is giving me money to go get my degree, and if you tell them you don't want it they start getting mad at you talking about "what's your problem, you dnt like free money"  Ummm... apparently not if I end up getting yelled at for not taking it. I'm good.

these lying third-world immigrant losers trying to rip-off decent citizens with scams.  don't even have enough basic integrity to call from legitimate telephone numbers

For the past few weeks I have been getting daily calls from the same Indian or Mexican man on my cell phone and the numbers all show up zero. First he stated he was with the US Government & ever since i told him his English Sucked and never call back, he personally calls me 2-5 times a day harassing me. I tell him to stop calling and he says" OK Thanks I will call you tomorrow" and i tell him NO NEVER CALL ME. Today he called and I let my wife answer this time because I am sick of dealing with this crazy [***]. He says today he will stop calling if he has sex with my wife. he says last year he had sex with my wife and has pissed me off pretty severe. it has turned from illegal telemarketing to straight up perverted harassment and this guy laughs and takes delight in messing with me. At this point he is not even trying to sell me anything he calls only to piss me off and ask to have sex with my wife. if i could find this [***] I would likely attempt to take his life and for good reasons. I feel threatened by him at this point. i feel threatened because I time stamp all of my cell calls and my Verizon page Plus account says there is no such incoming call records to my phone from 000-000-0000 so this means the guy is tormenting me and totally untraceable by Cell records. Something is seriously wrong with our US Government to allow such illegal phone transfers. Geeze all Drug Cartels or Mafia would need to do is get their hands on this untraceable software and they could get away with murder and our government would not know a thing about it.

000-000-0000 called once (so far) 2 days ago.  Hasn't called since.

Yeah i just got a call from this # also, I called it back and it says the number is no longer available in english and spanish. Then it proceeds to say "Message two, ca14mn". some sorta password or something im really not sure though.

I tried to call block this today.  Response from Verizon?
