I have blocked this number on my landline Panasonic phone after being harassed randomly by dead air and sometimes a robotic "Goodbye" yet it continues to call randomly, sometimes multiple times a day. It seems to coincide with an onslaught of "free cruise" type scam calls that have started recently as well (and subsequently blocked too).

Sorry, but the www.donotcall.gov does NOT work.  I am on the do not call list and we get calls from FOP, carribean cruise, 000-00-0000, and so on.

I have Verizon....  I answered.  The person said he was with the US Medical Department and was calling about my medical claim.  When I told him that I wasn't receiving any medical claim and had none pending, he proceeded to say "You are a [***]!  A big [***]!".  I could not understand him as his English was very broken.  I don't even know how to go about reporting this,

Received call from 000-000-0000 x 2 days. Today. I answered the lady was of foreign speaking decent. Wanted to speak w/mu husband. He is disabled and has a hearing problem and told her she had to speak with me. She started telling about something regarding the treaty for disability ( could not understand her and she got upset w/me when I asked to  repeat everything ) Finally I told her I do not want any more calls and that I would report her to the State Attorney General in our state. She mumbled something and I hung up. Tthey seem to want to pry on the elderly/disabled.   This was on our LandLine ..

I continue to get calls from "Name Not Found" and the number is 000000000 so I can't block it.  Today I actually answered it and a man asked for me by first name.  When I said that person was not available and asked who was calling please, he simply hung up on me.  The last time this same man called, he not only asked for me by name but said, "Aren't you doing taxes from this address?"  I replied that this is a residence and he again hung up never identifying himself.  Can you please tell me how I can block this and/or how to identify where or who this is coming from. Thank you.

You know folks, if you do not recognize the number or name, don't answer the damn phone!
If it's something important or your long lost uncle Festus, he'll leave a message.
When it stops ringing, if you're curious just enter the number in google and Waa Laa.

It's my belief that Verizon and Comcast (who are now doing business together) are selling cell and home phone numbers.  I receive, atleast, one call a day from the 000-0000 number, as well as countless other spam calls.  And, I'm also on the DO NOT CALL  list, which is totally worthless.  I'm just about ready to smash all my phones and buy a burner cell, tell Verizon and Comcast both to shove it.

Yea mines same all ooooo.... and I answer and they hang up. Spoofcard sounds right.
and if it shows up with only three numbers it is called a shortcode...which basically its better known as "shortcut". You can create your own shortcode through wordless.
Usually found in the..... functions PHP file.
