How ignorant. If you want people to know what you write, you must spell and use proper grammar.

I received  a call from 000-000-0000 I thought it was a 800 number. I did not have my glasses on. The recording stated my financial institution has frozen my funds because the account was being hacked and they needed my information to reset the account.  
OTAY! that ain't going to happen. I blocked that number!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have Verizon.  Been receiving these calls for a few days.  Todays said they were doing marketing research.

This is not just happening on cell phones folks...We get hang up calls from this number 000-000-0000 on our land line.... The only word Ive heard was the last syllable of a word or just the word " no "....... crazy

I just received a call from this number at 2:25AM EST!  I am very irritated as I have trouble sleeping and was in a very peaceful sleep, and I don't sleep well usually.  At this time in the morning, you think it's a family/friend emergency and I answered the phone before I could even see the screen clearly.  I think (again THINK) the computer sounded voice said "(MY NAME) we regret to inform you that your account has been locked, please press 1".  In my stupified state, I looked at the phone at that time, saw the 0000000000 number and then the call was disconnected.  I did not press anything.  It's possible that the recording did NOT say my name and just said "We regret to inform you that your account has been locked, please press 1"  Tomorrow, I will be investigating through Verizon how to prevent this number from calling my cell phone again at 2am!

This number is calling me everyday. When I answer it sounds like a collect call, press 1 to answer.
It claims the caller is National Marine Fisheries, very foreign voice.

So after days of these calls, I pressed 1 and then it says the caller hung up, to call back, press 2. I didn't press 2.
I'm thinking of trying to contact NOAA and see what they want with me!!

That's not exactly so... All my family's phones (land lines and cell phones) are registered with the state and national no-call registries... My husband is still getting calls from these people...

I have ATT, not Verizon. When my power went out the other day, I left my cell # as a contact to find out when it would be back on to my power company.  Now this 000 number called. Maybe coincidence, but more likely a) my number was sold b) someone gave my # as theirs to contact (received doc msgs for appoints for docs who are not mine) or c) someone copied # to sell.

I just got a call from this number on my landline. I have Comcast...
Easy solution for me is to just not answer calls where I don't recognize the number.
Just don't answer your phone if you don't know the number. It saves lots of aggravation.

Caller IDed himself as Brian Noble from EWA asking for the business owner by name hung up when I asked what the call was about.

I dialed an 800 number thinking it was some company number I was trying to reach. When they answered they said I had won 100 dollars and they needed my account number thinking it was the company I gave it to them and I also asked them if it was the company I was trying to reach and they said yes they kept me on the phone switching me around to two different people I had an odd feeling about it and so I hung up and called my bank and closed my account they called me back 10 times using this 000-000-0000 number and when I answered finally I told them I didn't want any thing they cursed at me and said I had closed my account I think they are scammers be careful

Soon after activating a Verizon Wireless account for my first Iphone, I got a call from 000-000-0000.  In ignorance I answered it and had a guy with an India accent ask for a name I didn't understand.  Asked who was calling and he said he was calling about the government bonds I was interested in buying, which wasn't my interest.  I told him he had the wrong number but before I could try to get information he hung up.  Seems a lot of Verizon Wireless customers are getting these but my salesperson said she hadn't heard of a problem (clueless).  Told me to call customer service to have that number blocked.

i have been getting calls at least 3 times a day, some late at night, i answered twice, but the call ends - nobody answers.  The call just cies

Just to let you all know there are devices (call blockers) one can obtain on Amazon and elsewhere which will block most calls automatically.  If one gets through, just touch the block button on the device and the call will be blocked in the future without your phone ringing even one time.  I happened to purchase my a device manufactured by CPR on Amazon; it is the one with the big red block button.  It has worked absolutely great up until I received this 000-000-0000 number which I now have blocked.  I was just curious who the caller was and decided to look it up which is why I am here now.  Anyway, I thought I would make you aware of the CPR in case you did not know about it.  Well worth the dollars; highly recommend.

I signed up for that donotcall but ever since I signed up for it I been getting more telemarketers callers than before I signed up for it.

Caller ID showed this number so I did not answer and it went to voice mail. If was a female voice with Asian or Indian accent asking for me by first name. There was a lot of background noise like a busy call center.

I received call today and India dialect said he was representing Windows and he said that my computer had been hacked several weeks ago and. wanted me to open my computer and follow instructions. I told him I had malware and virus protection and he would and  take no for an answer....I finally had to hang up. You could tell from background noise, that this was a telemarketer. He would never tell me the company that he worked for.
