- Incognito (Beware if they know your NameI got the call their claim "You have been approve for a $9,000 loan from the government. I knew it was a scam. And I ask them "Okay, what is my name?" the lady spoke in a heavy asian accent and reply "You are ________". She was right. She knew my first and last name. I became worry and said they got the wrong number. Scammers and hackers are getting too close to your personal information. Its time for you to be careful what you share online and on social media. As of now all my banking account PIN numbers have been change and not buying ANYTHING ONLINE with my cards.

- Pissed-In-Indiana| 1 replyJust got this call, about 30 minutes ago. Indian sounding caller, from "Windows Support Center". I asked him where he was calling from, and he said "Salt Lake City"..........and off I went! Asked him if he was Mormon and if he wore magic underwear.(he said NO). Told him that I was uncomfortable with talking to him, because the number had all 000's. He readily supplied me with 480-376-8970 (Chandler, AZ) and no one answers the call when I tried it.
I kept him on the phone for 13 min 44 sec. I told him I had 6 computers, with a mix of both Windows and Apple OS's. He told me that he could fix them ALL. He mentioned a computer ID, and I told him that I hadn't taken my computers to the DMV yet to get a license yet (ha ha), he said there were problems with my browsers (I told him that I had my brows done when I get my hair cut) and I told him that I did not have a modem or a router and I used wi-fi to connect to the Internet. He told me that I HAD to have a modem, and I told him that I went outside and sat on the roof to use wi-fi.
He instructed me to go to AMMYY and asked me what I saw. I told him I got a pop-up that read *kiss my a**. He told me to perform fellatio on him. He then hung up. He called me back 3 times and I did not answer. He called a fourth time, and I did pick up. Told him that I had run the phone number that he provided and that he was in Arizona, not Utah. I also told him that he was reported to several Federal agencies and he started screaming. I hung up and there have been no further calls.- Caller: Windows Support Center

- S. H.I get calls from this number periodically. but because I've read the comments here, I knew the calls were BS. Now, I may have too much time on my hands, but I find I rather enjoy mind effing these folks. One time the guy asked me to go in front of my computer. So while enjoying my coffee, I told him it was on the other side of the house and then waited several seconds before saying, "Almost there....I've got a big house!" He laughed a bit and sat in silence. After several more seconds, he asked me if I was in front of it yet. I simply said that no I wasn't, my house was big, so big that some may call it a mansion. I strung him along for a good 5 minutes before he finally hung up.
Then this morning I got another call. This time I told the guy I was in front of my computer. He told me to push certain keys, which of course I didn't, and then I exclaimed, "Oh my God! The screen just went black! What's happening? Now there's funny letters all over the screen!! What's going on?? Please help me fix this!! Can I give you my credit card number so you can fix it for me?" And then the call went dead.
I seriously need to get a hobby!!! - taylorcallinf from tech support from windows about virus's in my computer....told the man with an indian accent named peter that I don't own a computer and he said thank u and he hung up

- Shay replies to HiDino| 4 repliesWhat about Pacman music playing when I answer? Should I change my #???
- MidNYteStorm replies to ShayAlthough that is always an option, you could end with calls for people you never heard of. I know this from personal experience. Long story short, I changed my number and ended up with calls from collection agencies that refused to accept the fact that they called an outdated number.

- Sally replies to PaybackThey are not all fake numbers or companies. In my case it is my bank confirming a new transaction or my doctor's surgery confirming an appointment. I have tried to unblock them, but in both instances, the blocked texts show the 00000000 number, but this is not shown in my blocked numbers list, so I can't unblock it. Any ideas?

- HeathGet calls these numbers, sometimes 2 a day. Always from John, with an Indian accent, no matter if a man or woman, from U S Pharmacy. Wants to know about my medication. When I ask what kind, they ask your Viagra & Cialis. When I say I don't take that crap, they ask if I want to buy some & if I take any pain killers. I've been nice to them & bitched them out too, at different times. I've asked to be removed from whatever list I'm on, on several occasions but it doesn't help. I have an older iPhone, so I can't block the numbers.
