Sounded east indian  told me I have virus infiltrating my computer.  Said he was from Microsoft.  I told him to learn to speak English and not to call again.  He just kept shouting "no,no,no, you have to listen to me". I hung up on him and he called back 20 mins later.  I let it go to voicemail and he hung up.

Received call   from 1  on ATT  Landline  ID shows (Out of Area)

They call monthly, we never answer, they never leave a message!  This has been going on for about a year.

There's a horrible site that allows people to hide their numbers like so and call random numbers, that's how several people can call people. Simple Google search.

Any repetition of numbers will do it. There's a site that allows people to hide or "spoof" their cell numbers whilst calling random people. Simple. Annoying. Unfortunate.

I just received a call from the all zero number. The guy said my computer was being hacked and for me to turn my computer on. He claimed to be calling from Windows Service Dept. He gave his name as Steve Taylor located in Las Vegas, NV. I asked for a number so I could get my son to call him back. He said the number stays busy a lot but did give this number (702)583-5515. I did call the number back and someone answered the phone sounded like the same guy but said he was not Steve Taylor.

My caller ID name for a call from 000-000-0000 read "FRAUD CALL    ".   Didn't bother to answer in order to find out what particular fraud it was.

Are they calling your home phone or your cell phone? You can block numbers easily  if it is a smart phone. You usually need to go to your call log, click on the number, then open the menu and click "block number".

If you have a smart phone, you should be able to go into your call log, open the number you want to block and then you should be able to click the menu and select "block caller/ number".

The number 10 before the 000-000-0000 means it is an out of country number.

Keep getting these scam calls. Number calling from keeps changing. Now it's ten zeroes. I just add the number to my blocked list and hope they eventually give up. Any legitimate business or organization would not spoof the number they are calling from. Oh, also make sure you set up your phone to be silent during hours you normally sleep. These guys call me extremely early in the morning. Maybe because I used to live in the Midwest but moved to thw west coast without changing my cell number?
