I keep getting calls from this number several times a day for the past three days. the man on the other end sounds like he is from India as per the accent. Told him today to never ever call again or i would report him. No idea what they want.

The caller, out of area ( displayed as ID on our phone. ), last  called us without number 0 12.31.2015. Today, 01.04.2016. It called us @10:47 & 17:31, tick. We didn't answer per FTC suggestion. I don't know why www.ftc.gov ( www.donotcall.gov.) and www.fcc.goive haven't found & stopped it .

Ya, its a spoof number. Someone is placing false CID data. most likely from a net phone. IF I get calls from that, I would turn the ringer off and continue doing what I need to. numbers of that nature that you cant call back are usually bogus.

I just got off the phone with Verizon because I can't block this number.   I have the anonyous/reject and call block feature, but it won't allow you to put in 000-000-0000.  It states it's not a valid number.  Verizon didn't really have an answer and understood why I couldn't block it.  They said they sent a message to the equipment to not let the 000-000-000 come through.  Only way we'll know if It works is if I don't receive any more of those pesky calls.  BTW, I never pick up a call I don't know who the caller is.

Got a call from this number too.  First, do NOT answer any of these calls.  Second: if you do all you do is confirm for them that they have reached a verified working number and they will continue to call.   IF you have a cell phone then download the app, "Safest Call Blocker".   Its free and works great.

Obviously, a spoofed number.  Has been calling our landline, and never leaves a message.

I've gotten a couple of calls from them.  I let him show me the 'viruses' on a unused virtual machine I have (pretty much a clean Windows 7 install, with Google Chrome). Did silly thing like do a 'tree' command, and would actually type in "you have a virus" to the next C:> prompt like that's what the tree command 'reported'.  (The 'tree' command just prints a heirarchial tree of your files/folders, certainly doesn't do a virus scan).  Let him work on it for about 30 minutes and quote me $250 to 'clean' it before I let him know it's a VM.  He wasn't very happy.

Man said he was trouble shooting windows. Told him that there was nothing wrong with my computer. Started to argue with me and I told him not to call again. Very hard to understand.

Just started receiving from this number on our land line about 2 week ago.  They call at least 2 times a day. I have been picking up and immediately hang up.  Today the machine picked up and they hung on just long enough to qualify as message and said nothing.
