I don't want private  call or unknown  calls

Has this worked for you? If it has, I will also call Verizon to have them blocked.  The calls are becoming more frequent even though we never pick up the calls.

some dumbass just called my house with this number with a strong accent from a foreign country. best part about these calls is too mess with them. they asked about how they could fix your computer and everytime i asked them where they are, what company they are from etc, they said "top secret" xD

They called me and said that they were going to give me a grant of 40, 0000 when he asked for my driver license and ssi I hung up he has a strong Indian accent and he could not pronounce the city I live in.

It just kept saying "hello" in a male computer generated voice, even when spoken too. Its called twice before. Pretty freaky

i got a call from this number and the reverse look up app i have on my phone says its a SPAM CALLER and that its a landline

One of my favorite blocked numbers - still tries to get through. This has got to be the absolute kind dumb of the island of morons, using such an obviously spoofed number like this. Even too lazy to come up with anything that "might possibly" work.

I know what you mean! The message they leave on my phone is, "Your mother sews socks that smell!"

Got a call from this #1 a person with a heavy accent,saying a few unwanted choice words 2nd time called and mentioned one of my credit cards will be deactivated if not called back,again a heavy accent and a few choice words that if coming from Credit card company ,not professional at all so pretty sure it's a scam

A friend of mine told me to enter o's followed by a #sign with the keypad at the receiving call.
I did and the calls stopped.
Was it just fluke, I do not know.

I have a Galaxy S3 and I use a program called Mr. Number. It will block any numbers you want, and even has a database of confirmed spam numbers that it auto-blocks. it's great, and it's free

I occasionally get calls from these scumbags. If they are going to spoof a telephone number, it seems like the would use one that was believable.

It is a complete hoax.  If you allow it, they will take over your computer and make it look like it is loaded with several viruses.   Then they will charge you an enormous fee to clean up the mess.  I have helped several people who fell into this trap, and once it happens usually it means formatting the hard drive and reloading windows.  Be smart, if you don't know who is calling, don't answer the phone, and Microsoft or Apple will never ever call you.

If you get a call blocking phone, you can enter the number and it will be BLOCKED. I just received a call from this number but it rang once, was blocked and that's the end of their calls.  Probably many rogue people and criminals spoofing this number.

Actually many police organizations hire agencies to cold call people.  And these companies will call you incessantly, including weeknight and weekends.  They don't care.  They've got a contract with the police organizations and get a huge percentage from those who donate.  Better to give money directly to a charity of your choice or the police department rather than these unethical people. Block these numbers and you will no longer receive their calls, at least until they start using another phone number, lol.

I answered because my spouse was sleeping.  They asked for me by first name only.  When I asked who this was, they said they were "calling from my home alarm system" and their records show that I have had the system for 3 years now.  That was enough - the only home alarm system I have is two dogs and I'm sure they didn't tell this woman to call me.
