I used to get calls from my sons at 000-000-0000 when they were deployed to the Middle East. I was told it is the Gov'ts interchange for Military Bases. Today I received a call from this number but it said it was coming from me with my name on it.  I answered and they said they were my credit card Company and I had no problem with my card but they wanted to talk to me. I get these same calls from different numbers all the time. I put them on call reject which does work for the 000-000-0000 numbers. I hang up but usually never answer if i do not know the number. The other day one came from my home interchange and a local cell phone number. They are trying everything.

Received voicemail message from this number on my cellular phone.  The message was cut off but said, in part "push 1 to speak with a live operator and push 3 to be disconnected"  Some sort of telemarketing or debt collector is my guess

I just received a call from 0000000000 for the second time today. This time I answered and was informed that I was the only one on the conference call?

i got a call from a 0000000000 number no one answered and then after about 10 seconds an automated voice said bye then hung up. Any one eles get a call like that??

Received a call from 0000000000.  Answered and a recordiing started off by saying...'This call is about your current credit card account'.  With that I hung up.  Too bad my phone didn't have voice recognition so I could trace the girl's identity.

Received a call from this pseudo number and told my husband not to answer it. No voicemail left either. Another definite crap/robo caller.

If they are overseas, the do not call list is irrelevant, unfortunately.

today, 5/27/16, i received a phone call from 000-000-0000.  since that is what my caller id showed, i did not answer it.  however, i then got on the net and did some research and found it is from the telemarketers and scammers.  so to prevent this from happening again, i blocked the number,000-000-0000, using verizon's family base.

Who the heck would answer a call from a bunch of ZEROES anyway? 😉

Its listed as an internet domain email number. If you make a call through your computer (eq. Facebook calls or through google) it will show random numbers that a phone would never have. It could be one number but used by many people or companies which calls through the internet.

I agree wholeheartedly with you.  Yaknow, what confuses me is, here is someone who is at least skilled enough to use scam robocall programs, but so stupid that they make their CID "unknown name 000-000-0000."  Who answers something so obvious and stupid?  I looked it up to see how many complaints are here, and there are a lot, the zero number is used by many different scammers.  And, they called on a Satueday, a trend I've seen lately;  they used to keep strictly bankers' hours M-F!

I have just started to receive these calls. They just started today. I said I didn't sign up for anything,  and I wanted my number off this list. He said do you have $250? Cuz that's how much it would probably cost. I'm so pissed because I have received calls like this about 4x today. I'm just hoping that I don't get charged international calls.

bagan getting them today..blocked  the 00000000 number then started calling back to back on private number..i didn't answer but the first time and said no one lived here by that name..he kept calling and hanging up

I agree. Someone was nice enough to help and you destroyed him. .Nice!

No one at this site can do that.  Invest in a call blocker and do not pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

I agree, he is just being nice.  Actually, I thin he is a disgruntled hacker from India or Pakistan and is give up his fellow Dicks.

I answered the phone " police department, fraud div."   they hung up.   Lets see if they call back.
