Received an automated (really bad call robot) call from +0000000 saying it was Citibank and my debit card was locked and to press 1 for their security department. I don't have Citibank and this bad robot tells me it was probably a scam.

The person that called me from this # said my computer had been hacked and she could show me if I let her log in. I told her I'm not an idiot. So if someone allowed them to log in to their computer it's then possible.

This number calls several times a day. I have never answered, because no one needs to hide their number unless, they are a nuisance caller.

Ok this is really strange - I just got a call from a family member and it came through as 1-000-000-0000.  He has called on his cell phone many times before and his number has always come through correctly until today.  I wonder if some sort of glitch in the caller ID leads to this number being displayed by default?

Keep getting calls from 000-000-0000.  They do not speak and after a few seconds you hear a click. Getting so we get these calls all day long, 4 to 6 times

Except that they clearly *are* from the US.  I totally agree with cutting foreigners some slack, but for home grown US people, there are only a few acceptable reasons for writing such as Edwin's.

    Cautious Person
I received a call from this number today and a man (I didn't hear an accent but I could be wrong) asked for me by my first name.. That freaked me out.. So I asked who was calling and he hung up.  My caller ID said the number came from Park Ridge NJ.  Hope this helps finding the harassers.
