Well, thing is, these ppl never leave a message, whereas I would think your family member would. I believe I now have my friend/family trained to leave a message, hopefully😉

Got a call from all zeros...did not answer. Tried calling back and it would not even ring...is this a prank or bogus?

I have been receiving the same calls. This person called me three times today. When I attempted to say hello they quickly hung up. This is pretty scary

You're right. Just don't pick up the phone. Eventually they'll stop calling

Called and didn't leave a message.  I immediately got a call from an 800 number which got blocked by my RoboBlocker.

you'd think the phone companies could at least block this #.

I received a recorded telemarketing call from this number. I read telemarketers are using this now, because the calls can't be blocked. But guess what - our PHONES can block them! If you don't want to receive these, go into your call lock and block the number. Good luck, everyone!

Got a call from this 0000000000 number. Answered once and it was a recording from credit card services....

you can try contacting your phone company and telling them what's going on.  Maybe they can block it.

Called and said I needed to lower interest rate. Redirected to different phone number. Did not call back

My guess is it's some kind of spoofed number. I tried blocking it. BTW. When I get calls from such numbers or Private Caller, I answer, "You have reached the FBI criminal fraud division. All our agents are busy right now. Please stay on the line and an agent will assist you shortly."

doesn't work for criminal callers, they call from different numbers everyday - spoofed numbers, yes there is a law against spoofing and they don't enforce it , until they do enforce it,  it will keep happening, the fcc needs to fine at&t, verizon etc for allowing spoofing to continue, maybe fine then $1,000,000 per spoofed call, it would then stop.
