So we're all supposed to call back to a number that, as has repeatedly been explained, cannot exist and is a spoof?  Well, isn't that brilliant.

Received a call from the number shown above, as it showed up on caller id, The person on the other end of the line actually left a Name and Number to call back and said that it was pertinent that the Named Person call back before 23:00.  I called the number that was left and the person that left the message answered, even though he had left the alternate number with an extension to reach him??????  How is it that it is an 800 number that I called back, yet the call was answered by the same person that left the message???? The Number that was left to call back to was
1-866-640-9248EXT#2081  The name of the person on the other end was Andre Powers.

Been getting these calls for weeks now. Called Telus to ask if they could tell me who they were, couldn't.

They never left any messages, so today I answered the call. Sure enough, it was the stupid Captain trying to "give away" these cruise tickets.. but only if I answered the 10 multiple choice questions, that I answered "0" to everything....

Finally got some [***] on the line, told him to remove my number or be sued, told me not unless I ask him nicely...? are you seriously.. the man REFUSED to remove my number?? These dumb people actually like to provoke people who are already pissed off? Told him my cell is on the "do not call list" and that I will be calling the CRTC.. he told me to go right ahead and while I was at it, so call the FBI etc too... ?!?!!! He claimed that they were not telemarketers, so the DNCL doesn't apply to them? ORLY?!

Thanks to Google, I found their 800 call back # (1-800-441-6858) and got another loser, asked him to remove my number (I actually work for a collection agency, so OUR call display comes up unavailable) and he's like, OK! and hung up... I didn't even give the man my number?!!

Called back a third time and demanded the company's address to their call center... the woman who answered was actually decent (and I even heard people cheering in the background.. some poor soul I guess got suckered in and their sale went to their quota) asked me why I needed it (after putting me on hold for 2 minutes)... I said since your moron co-workers don't know how to do what one asks, perhaps a letter in the mail would be easier... she claimed, "all I had to do was ask, and she'd remove it..." WTF? So I give her my cell # and she's like your # isn't in our system. ?? Asked for my name (since they have your # AND your name.. [***]..) and no go... she claimed that if I get another call... don't return it or call back as if you call them from an unblocked line, their stupid dialer system picks it up, and BAM you're back on their stupid auto-dialer again.

I'm not sure if "this is your captain cruise lines" is actually Imperial Majesty Cruise Line but, I'm going to call it back tomorrow and ask. If it IS, I'll be contacting my lawyer... (thank GOD for Pre Paid Legal!!)

When you call their 800-441-6858 it says their call center is open 9-10:30, however on their website it says otherwise... but who knows, 0000000000 might just be their lame ass telemarketer call center...

I've had this number call a few time at home Bell #, but in the past few weeks, I have received calls on my Rogers Cell and my work phone too (which is VOIP) and a large nationwide company (i.e. not a company I own or in my own name). No others in my branch have had this # call their line. I have never answered it and there has never been a message. This is spooking me! How could the same # call me at all these different locations/numbers?

So I got a call from this number this morning, and it turned out to be Blockbuster Video.  Ridiculous, an automated call from Blockbuster and they can't use a for real number.

Ya, I when 000-000-0000 number calls or 123-456-7890 or most of other calls that are 1800 numbers. I just pick the phone up and hang it up. I hate talking to them. Most of the time they think that my house number is a company. It drives me crazy. I reciently got put on the national do not call list maybe it is a good idea if you do it also

Just wondering, did they ever call back? I got one for my minor son.

These jerks call me at least weekly.  Most recent call there was no one at the other end.

I encountered the same issues when I obtained a new phone service.  After further investigation, it was discovered that someone at the phone company was selling information on new installations to telemarketers.

I'm a rogers customer receiving calls on my cell phone. It's been happening every day mid-afternoon. I'm so sick of the calls and no one there when I answer!!!

I receive a call from this tyoe of number weekly.
I reported them on the dncl and I still get calls.
What can be done to block this number.

you can try calling 800-441-6858 and asking them to remove your number and shove their free cruise up their rear end.. they'll probably tell you that your not in their system.. blah blah...

but, you never know.. it might not be the same company. it does seem, however that they're pounding the calls in ontario on rogers, telus and bell numbers so... it's no doubt the same company.

Same as others have reported: a brief survey of non-personal questions, with the promise of 2 free tickets for a cruise in the Bahamas, and direction to go to their web site www.surveyclaim.com to collect my winning. My number is on the DNCL.

I get calls repeatedly from this number.  When I answer, I only a series of beeps.  When they leave voicemails it is the same.  When I try calling it back, all I get is a high-pitched dial tone.  It's very irritating.  How can I block it?

I get the exact same thing from #s 604-637-8439, 702-520-1105 and
402-452-3144.  It's driving me nuts!

The call from Imagine Master Card. They block their number so someone will answer the phone.
